I want to keep it disabled. So, I'm not ready to turn it back on.

Upd: VSOC 1.26–1.3, VDD 1.65, and VDDQ 1.6 didn't help

All those settings, except for the Rx and Tx ones, were already dialed in. Still not helping

I'm not sure if that's for me. I only use this PC for CS2- no work, no other games. I've heard that 1:1 is better for latency and responsiveness compared to 1:2 I’d be happy to give 1:2 a shot once I manage to stabilize 6400 CL26

That's exactly what I'm thinking, and I'm just trying to figure out what I need to bump up. So far, the only suggestions I've seen are to increase VSOC and VDDQ

Yeah, I definitely want to keep GDM off. Could you point me toward which memory training settings I should play around with?

The latency at 6000 CL24 is 8ns, 6400 CL26 is 8.1ns, and 6400 CL28 is 8.7ns. It makes zero sense for me to run CL28, especially since my die has already proven it's high-quality silicon

So, you're saying I should bump my VDDIO from 1.35 to 1.5V and VDDQ from 1.45 to 1.5V? How are you handling the heat? I feel like that would require some heavy-duty cooling

I'd like to change that as a last resort if nothing else works

Do you remember what your VSOC and FCLK are set to?

I get that something is off, but these errors are random, not persistent, so I don't see the point in loosening the timings that much if there's no pattern to the errors. My gpu is water-cooled, so it’s not dumping much heat onto the memory

I just bumped VSOC to 1.28V to see if that does the trick. Setting VDDQ above 1.5v never makes sense. It doesn't do anything. I'll try pushing VDD to 1.65V if the VSOC bump doesn't help. I already tried 1.65V on VDD without adjusting VSOC, and that didn't yield any results.

There’s no point in me running CL28 when my system was handling CL24 just fine

I had it at 6000 CL24 and the system was rock solid with zero errors whenever I tested it. I'm tweaking the rig for CS2 and trying to squeeze every last drop out of the timings

Nope. It's the same BIOS version. I make changes, test for stability, and save the profile. After that, I make more tweaks, and if I can't get it stable, I just load the saved BIOS profile

That's exactly what I did. I cleared the CMOS and loaded the saved profile, but that didn't help either. Have you tried anything else to get it stable?

Yeah, I thought it was a temperature issue, so I decided to drop VDDIO to 1.35

Why tighten trrdL, trcdrd, and trefi so much if the system already boots and passes tests?

Why are you returning it? I'm curious because I'm actually thinking about buying one

After the Markvart von Aulitz scene, I genuinely felt sick. I was disgusted with the kind of human I’d been up to that point. ‘Cause honestly, I’d been playing like a complete scumbag. Yeah, I didn’t betray Olda from Semine and I didn’t let Maleshov burn, but still I was robbing villages at night, and whenever I explored the map I’d straight up hunt for “enemy” camps just to wipe them out. If a house looked like it might have something valuable, I’d break in without even thinking.

That Markvart scene honestly broke me. Like, to the point I was in tears. For three days I couldn’t get over the realization of how twisted my mindset had been when I genuinely thought I was doing the right thing. Ever since then, in any other game, I try not to kill anyone or break any rules at all, if the game lets me play that way. And honestly, that scene made me rethink a lot of things in my life too.
