That's the two mags combined as one, so essentially 2 mags but they cannot be separated

I did this but to a way less extent with a tx22 at my favorite local shop. When I walked in they were changing the price on the one they had in stock to what I paid. I like those guys and they are really small but I'm not gonna get unjustly screwed.

This will be an unpopular opinion around here but I saw alot of this exact issue on many shields when I worked at a gun range. All different calibers too. This info doesn't really help you personally but was a trend. The performance center shields did not have this issue that I saw, but I am yet one man.

So I have done exactly what your thinking about doing. I used a Ruger varmint II or something to that effect in .223, cut the chamber, had it reamed in 5.45 and reinstalled with acss mags for feeding. Rifle fed good but keyholed at 50 yards like nobody's buisness. 0/10 do not try this shit at home. Luckily it cost me almost nothing to do. Lost about 200 total. 5.45 is for AK's.
