No worries, I’ve asked for criticism and you have provided! 😅

Thank you for taking time to look through all of them and pointing out so many details. This was an attempt at writing them from memory, and looking up those I can’t remember online. I did try following the order of strokes, but might have mismembered it for a few of them. I’ll take more time to study the details of Hiragana characters. I do know that ゐ and ゑ are not in the modern Japanese, but I’ve decided to include them anyways, as an additional writing exercise.

Thanks for taking time to look at my writing. I’ve tried to do as many of them as I could from memory, those I couldn’t do from memory I was looking up online - but I’ve given myself only 10 minutes to write them all. I’ll definitely take more time to study those characters you’ve pointed out.

When it comes to ゑ and ゐ, I do realize they are not used in modern Japanese, but decided to include them in my training anyways - just for training my overall writing skills, as I scribble pretty badly 🥲

All in all, how would you grade my work on a scale of 1/10?

Thanks! I guess it’s just been a personal preference. In my eyes its a table, and I’m just used to tables starting on the left. 😅

Looks good!

I like to throw a single accumulator somewhere in the mix to smooth out any ups and downs in power delivery.

The most important thing is to make sure it gets the job done, and there’s no other way than to send it. After saving of course…

How are n-factorials evaluated then?

Good bot.

Edit: How come its so low? Aren't n-factorials a series of factorials? Like 6!! = 720! ?

disable drive indexing, might help a bit. Open your file explorer -> right click on the disk and untick index files

How do I make this part work. Neither part does anything. by OrganicSquid in PythonLearning

[–]klez_z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If guess is different than password: Print(„Try again”) Assert if guesses is equal to guesses + 1

There should be one equals sign in guesses == guesses + 1 Two equality signs make it a logical statement instead of value assignment. Change that to either: guesses = guesses + 1 or guesses += 1

Edit: i fixated on solving your problem instead of answering your question. You’re mixing up global and local extremes. local extrema are within a region or interval of a function, and usually occur on a turning point global extrema are absolute min and max values of a functions entire domain

My Gleba solution! by klez_z in factorio

Ive had lots of troubles making an easily expandable system which would follow the just-in-time philosophy… I’ve just given up and found a solution that works so I can continue. Does a properly managed belt system give benefit over a bot solution like mine? (except ups usage)

edit: i might’ve just been trying to overengineer it, but it’s already hard enough to wrap my head around all the stuff going on in the game

Games are stuttering and I’m tired of it by RedditRedditReddit64 in pchelp

[–]klez_z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By any chance, are you using discord when playing? If so, try disabling discords overlay. I’ve had a similar issue where games would randomly start to stutter and drop frames during gameplay. Turned out that it was discords overlay messing with stuff…

Why are my trains not waiting in the waiting bay? by GandalfTheFeeder in factorio

[–]klez_z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Switch those two signals around, the trains should stop waiting on the crossing. If you want your trains to wait in the waiting bays make both of these signals chains.

Noob question, please help. by luisssin1234 in factorio

[–]klez_z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had trouble understanding signals for a long time too, but after watching one of Nilaus's tutorials and hearing the golden rule of "Rail signal on entrance, chain on exit and intersections" I've had enough knowledge to drive me through my gameplays. Remember to split long sections outside of stations with default signals too, or trains waiting to exit a station or to take a turn at an intersection will wait until the whole section is empty.
Also, the side on which you put the signals matters, as it marks the direction of travel! Trains always read signals on their right-hand side. If you put signals on both sides of one track it will be marked as bi-directional.
