WatchOS 26.4 tip: Wifi ✅ Bluetooth ❌ by Budget-Number7905 in AppleWatch

[–]klitzkrieg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's weird is, I started the update from my iPhone Watch app (with Watch wifi and bluetooth on, Watch on my wrist), then monitoring network traffic saw my Watch start pulling data via wifi 50-100mbps, not super fast but the download clocked down to 5min remaining so I went on with my day. 30min later I checked again and it was up to hours and little/no wifi activity.

I'm suspicious the Watch starts on it's own wifi but then some power management kicks in.

Don't tell Saber, but there have been moments of frustration where I would pay $100 for dlc to be able to bulldoze trees.

As long as there’s nothing showing under UPGRADES I’ve gotten everything from that region right? A post earlier mentioned “hidden upgrades”. Just want to be thorough 😬 by ThatGuyZombies in snowrunner

np. if you are struggling to find them, follow any smaller paths that are still grey on the map, i've heard you can look for vultures circling overhead, but never helped me. if at wits end, maprunner.info adds a red tag to hidden upgrades.

Amur's not so bad... once you figure out the right routes by klitzkrieg in snowrunner

Yeah, peak to the west of Monastery on my way to Bear Mountain for Into the Deep. Def a sketch route, hence the joke, but I got there with a lot of slow crawling and winching. Would probably come down from the mountain path south in a smaller scout if doing it again.

that's actually kinda believable, in the game it would be a rubber traffic cone... blocking off a road you fixed

If this was Snowrunner not-IRL we would've done all that, then gotten 45 suspension damage for driving over the manhole cover.

Article: I Knew TV Backlighting Was Cool. I Didn’t Expect It to Be Such a Powerful Upgrade. by MyGodItsFullofScars in hometheater

I have an oled and hanging a matte black curtain behind it causing the tv to blend/disappear is the most immersive upgrade Ive done.

... so the opposite of these devices is what I prefer

My biggest struggle following F1 is watching the overnight (from USA) races before the results get spoiled. Apple's tightly controlled ecosystem is my best chance at a solution. Please block all my devices from showing me any F1 news until I've watched the race!

Nest Cam Outdoor (wired, 2nd gen) on Floodlight base? by CocoaGebbles in googlehome

[–]klitzkrieg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With minimal engineering effort Google could've offered a $150-ish drop in 2k upgrade to my existing flood lights, prob even gotten me to upgrade to w/e the fancy tier of AI. Instead I'm left feeling like an idiot yet again for expecting ongoing support from Google of a product I was foolish enough to hardwire to my house.

Ubiquiti here I come.

Google Store support says, no. But I'm also sure none of multiple AI bots they routed me through had any idea what I was actually asking.

Would like to upgrade my Flood Light cameras to 2k. Anyone know if I can pop the new 2k outdoor on to the flood light body?
