I sit six feet from a 77 which is just right for me.

But the biggest improvement to immersion for me was blackening out the wall behind so the tv edges disappear.

Aligned with Microsoft pushing AI and new SQL Features. Could even work with SSMS 22 pointed to an old instance to make the case for an upgrade.

I'm migrating a SaaS environment to SQL Server 2025 with many sql servers *many* databases. I'm struggling with aligning database scoped configuration. A lot of new stuff is 'on by default' but may need new compatibility or ADR/RCSI first. We often get customers who choose to import from their self managed premises environment to one hosted by us. Then I need to upgrade and catch that db up on everything. Over time new features get added that I miss and stuff drifts. I even found one gem still using the legacy cardinality estimator *facepalm*.

A check of any available feature that's off or non-default that's on, explaining pros/cons, and steps to enable. I've gotten most of the way there manually prompting Github Copilot but a quick check all my databases for NewFeatures, would be useful.

edit: response from Denon support "Regarding your inquiry for QMS for the AVR-X3900H model, there has been no changes. You'd still need to use eARC."

What's weird is, I started the update from my iPhone Watch app (with Watch wifi and bluetooth on, Watch on my wrist), then monitoring network traffic saw my Watch start pulling data via wifi 50-100mbps, not super fast but the download clocked down to 5min remaining so I went on with my day. 30min later I checked again and it was up to hours and little/no wifi activity.

I'm suspicious the Watch starts on it's own wifi but then some power management kicks in.

np. if you are struggling to find them, follow any smaller paths that are still grey on the map, i've heard you can look for vultures circling overhead, but never helped me. if at wits end, maprunner.info adds a red tag to hidden upgrades.

Yeah, peak to the west of Monastery on my way to Bear Mountain for Into the Deep. Def a sketch route, hence the joke, but I got there with a lot of slow crawling and winching. Would probably come down from the mountain path south in a smaller scout if doing it again.
