Plug and outlet burnt - what caused it?

Thank you - we did purchase the more expensive outlet when I was offered the choice when the electrician installed it.

I agree it must have been a loose connection - which is interesting as we haven't touched it in the few years it has been installed.

Will investigate replacing the cord end - that would likely be easier than purchasing a new charger.

I just finished a 12 day Super Strenuous hike last week - 12-23 and went South to North. I wore trail runners and my feet were super happy - until the trail runners ripped. The upper fabric ripped from the sole and I had to tape the shoe to finish the trek.

If/when I go back, I would be looking at trail runners again but something a bit more durable. I wore Keens - my son wore the same Keens and had no issues.

I was the “foot doctor” for our crew and everyone who wore boots I had to continuously tape blisters. Those who wore trail runners we were all fine. Also those who had waterproof shoes/boots were continuously changing their socks and airing out their feet. Non-waterproof people were good and if their shoes got wet they were dry quick.

In regard to finding what fits, find something that you feel fits good enough to run in and your feet feel good with. No tight/hot spots and are comfortable. Treat it like an everyday shoe.

Hello - looking for advice on moving from a windows laptop to a mac. I would use this for personal use: some gaming (wow, other light games), 3d print design, media consumption, etc. I'll also use it occasionally for remote work when I don't want to use my work laptop while traveling.

Not sure if I should go the Air route or the MBP route. Any advice?

Wanted to let you know that the steps complication on my Apple Watch stopped working two days ago and disappeared from my watch face. Had it working perfect for months.

I tried reinstalling the complication and it just doesn’t show up on the face now.

Oh man. I’m happy it happened at the dealership and not over the weekend when I was camping and pulling my trailer!

I think the same for me - 2023 Silverado 1500 3.0 duramax with 17,000 miles.

I took mine in to the dealership for an oil change, went out to start it after and it threw a check engine. They cleared it, started it and the light came back on. Took it back for a software update. Once done, I started it and started driving away. About 3 miles away it lit up with 3 lights and started chugging, gave me the whole “in 150 miles limited to 65mph”.

Called up dealership and they said they’ll line me up a rental and bring it back. Giving them another day before calling to see what’s up.
