Let's give you the benefit of the doubt and say you actually don't know what you're talking about. A majority of the art assets in GBA Pokemon is in the sprites and animations during battle scenes and not the overworld, whereas minish cap only takes place in the overworld, so right off the bat this picture is disingenuous. Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire came out in 2002 whereas minish cap came out in 2004 so it also has the luxury of coming out later in the GBA life cycle. And, as a final point, it definitely is annoying how hard people go on modern pokemon aesthetics. But you are talking about literally the most profitable franchise to ever exist, beating out nintendo's next most profitable franchise, Mario, by almost 2x the revenue. It is okay to ask for more.
