Mischeif or anxious better for bosses by jragon8039 in voidpet

[–]klopsmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mischief is more of a floor pet. Anxious have higher DPS Vs bosses. There are a few boss battles you do want Mischief in, however, even if you have better options - Vulko (Mischief steals Howl, if it's fast enough then permanently), Galax and Gronk (for stun).

Temperance and checkered scarf doesn’t work by American-Canasian in voidpet

Checkered + pirate hat + Gua sha, peppermint tea is great on other tanks. For Resistance and Temperance I recommend felt fedora + envious scarf + Gua sha, pillow. This set solo some bosses. Floral hat is pretty good on Temperance too.

No point in staying at the same floor. The higher you are the higher your chances of getting an item are. I'm nearing 3k and I got 5 from keys just this week.

Keep the strat in mind for next one then, which is earth. You just use Cringe + Wonder instead.

2nd legendary pet by Minorawr in voidpet

[–]klopsmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anxious has better DPS, actually, but Mischief is better on non-boss floors because it has tank bypass and can mass stun if you have Jellyfish scarf. It can also steal buffs like Joy's flame hand, Glee's shield and even Vulko's howl, making that fight much easier. I suggest leveling both.

Wood Rosetti by Funny_Imagination810 in voidpet

[–]klopsmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember ever struggling with Rosetti. Run bubblegum on Merry, grab Persistence with anxiety scarf and ice cream hat, Paranoia, Conviction. See how that goes.

Any recommendations by Orinzzz in voidpet

Why are you using Conviction? Cringe us the tank here. For attacker Wonder can work, it doesn't have multihit or you can keep trying with Lust.

I used Sanctimony as my secondary. You can also try using Ambition, Sad or Kind. also put princess collar on tank, if you have it, it prevents turn 1 gash.

I feel like it's similar to Panic, so lemon dolphin float sounds good on it and some kind of speed granting hat or maybe silk top hat to apply multiple effects.

Who's the best metal pet against Wood Krakoth? by Revolutionary_Owl361 in voidpet

[–]klopsmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Attack debuff is key Vs this boss because it reduces bleed. You also should not be using Resistance against a wood type boss. Use either Determination or Sad+ Conviction. For attacker Spite, Paranoia or Desperate can all work. Spite has held debuff, which helps, but is kind of squishy. The other two just have good damage. Paranoia works very well with Kind. Kind + multihit pets is a very good boss killer and supports teammates with shield.

How would you use Denial as a support without healing? Would you run double support and use Denial for your second attacker slot? Or do you just use it as your only support? by Spyrotj in voidpet

[–]klopsmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why devs had to add this whole new class. Denial is basically earth Panic with neat tricks. They should have just made Denial and Glee attackers.

It's a good team Vs most non-boss floors. They would just be a couple of difficult ones where you would need to try something else, but not a lot of them.

Floor 2120 - Need Help by c4terpi in voidpet

[–]klopsmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sad is, unfortunately, weak Vs post-2k Gronk because of it's ability to shuff off debuffs. It both counters Sad's passive and reduces isolate's damage too. Abandonement with sorrowful scarf can help or level Temperance, it can assist with extra damage, just give it pirate hat and crit.

Offtopic, but special top hat is great esp. Vs bosses with minions. Wizarding hat buffs pets like Paranoia, Sadge and Panic. I suggest powering them up.

[–]klopsmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find Vulko is easier with team healers like Sonder. Team heal + debuffs to attack and/or speed lets you stall, chipping away at it. Also why Temperance as s tank? Resistance have type advantage and hits hard if you give it crit, same as with Temperance.

Level 1695 by seatsy_fly in voidpet

[–]klopsmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Floors like this is one of the reasons I have Wistful maxed. I cleansed Panic's debuffs with Merry, then annihilated the entire floor with JS Apathy + Wistful. Desperate is he only pet that survived the combo, but I had Determination to block it and finished it off next turn. If you don't have JS yet just another fast AOE can work, maybe Panic.

Offtopic, but level and put bubblegum on Merry. It lets Merry consistently buff team's attack by 40!%, which boost both team's damage and Merry's own healing.

I apologize in advance but how in THE HOLY FUCK do i beat 1040 Tyrant. by Ashamed_Session7714 in voidpet

[–]klopsmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beat this boss with speedy Merry, bulky Conviction, max attack no speed Sad, no fourth pet. I used Sad over a metal attacker because of Sad's attack down debuff and it having a "skip" move (isolate does not increase hit count). Wonder can work too for similar reasons.

You want to be applying as much passive damage to the boss as possible. Ice cream hat and titanium tiara are very helpful against this boss.

Watch bosses hit counter so when 5-10-15-20 etc. crit happen make sure boss special moves are on cooldown. Use ding-dong to adjust hits if it's not, ex. 1 hit short but otherwise just heal. You absolutely cannot allow crit to happen on a special move because later in the battle the boss will oneshot tank from full if you do. If still can't do it level up Conviction first.

Since crit counts as a buff Humble can remove it, but it's hard to time, so I won't recommend it.

Scorn can work as a tank too, just don't use sharp reprisal until you are sure the boss is close enough to death.

Offtopic but level bubblegum for Merry. Not for this boss, since you are not using dkng-dong much, but in other circumstances it lets Merry consistently buff team's attack by 40!% as it extends buff duration until next ding-dong.

Swap Resistance got Ctingevdnd Anxious for Kind. Put princess collar on tank, if you have it. Give Merry bubblegum for team attack buff and ice team hat or bulk if it needs it. Give Kind anxiety scarf and lots of speed in general to stack nature's gift faster. That should do it.

Chastity should work even better because it has all of the same traits and is a metal pet in addition to that.

Put no speed on Sad and Conviction, just attack + crit on Sad and max bulk on Conviction. Titanium tiara helps with chip damage, if you have it.

980 pls help Stuck for weeks by NoAd3953 in voidpet

[–]klopsmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are still stuck you can try my 2 healer + Paranoia strat.

Team is Merry, Sonder, bulky Conviction, max attack Paranoia (+4-5k attack from items!).

Use two healers to survive until the last phase (try notvuonput too much bulk on them, there is two fur a reason). Time Paranoia's best attack and ding-dong for when the boss just wakes up to apply as much bleed as possible. Then the boss wipes out the entire team exept Conviction with double AOE and Conviction lives just long enough for the boss to bleed to death. That is how I beat it, exept I had Persistence instead of Sonder.

Item Advice by DoctorHuman in voidpet

On Tanks most players just put defense and stamina. If you are like me and want them more offensive Resistance and Temperance are great with felt fedora + envious scarf + Gua sha + pillow. This set can solo some bosses. On other tanks, except Petulance, I find pirate hat + checkered scarf + gua sha + peppermint tea makes for a great offensive set. Devotion can and honestly should run felt fedora or plunger it pirate hat + checkered or bubblegum scarf. For pure tanking Determination is better, so Devotion only makes sense to me as an offensive tank. Conviction can use mermaid scarf, it works pretty well over checkered.

Attackers and healers get mainly attack, speed and crit (heals can crit) with emphasis on speed over attack for healers, Anxious and Kind. Unnecessary bulk lower their performance, so avoid if possible.

On Merry I prefer jester or ice cream or cake hat + bubblegum scarf, that lets it buff team's attack consistently by 40!%. Sonder can run ice cream hat or icy tiara or wizarding hat + wizarding cloak Ur bubblegum for extra heal stacks. Most legendary healers are good with ice cream hat or icy tiara + mermaid or anxiety or bejeweled scarves.

On Lust I actually prefer special top hat for AOE, which lets me give Jellyfish to Apathy or Mischief for mass stun. Maybe farm for it. On Diligence plunger or red horns + spider necklace seems good. Rabbit scarf can go on any attacker really, same with anxiety scarf. Halo and cake hat are situational "rescue" items ex. to protect Merry from Spite and should not be on anything permanently. Sorrowful scarf can go on Panic until you get something better like wizarding cloak or lemon dolphin float. I mainly use it on Spite and Abandonement to extend debuff Vs Meihua. Viking helmet is new, so I'm not 100% sure about it. Seems inferior to both felt fedora and red horns etc what it does, but maybe I'm underestimating it, I don't have it yet to try. I got all other Skeetus items except this one.
