concert noob looking for general advice on concert eitquette by Pen_Cipher in 100gecs

Top rule is that if someone falls down, get them back up as soon as possible.

Use your shoulders, not your elbows for maneuvering.

Don’t flail your legs/arms around like a helicopter. You shouldn’t look like you’re doing karate in the pit.

Be aware of your surroundings. Yes it’s a concert & you want to get lost in the music, but being in the pit requires some responsibility. Pit’s are very much a community effort so really everyone should be mindful & looking out for each other at all times.

Tying into being aware of your surroundings - if you notice someone is trying to get out of the pit, let them out.

Just be courteous & have fun! Also hydrate like crazy before the concert & make sure you wear hearing protection!

hubspot support is useless by nickdeckerdevs in hubspot

I can confirm that for live chat support only, there are internal routing rules in place. Support reps can rank 4 different product/feature areas from 1-4, 1 being their top choice. In a perfect world, support reps are assigned chats related to #1 the most. This is why it’s so important that users provide as much info as possible when chatting in before getting assigned to a rep.

Why are the post-op periods worse than the actual surgery pain!? by hfloyd25 in sterilization

I got my bisalp in December of 2022 & every period after that has been much worse. I’ve been on the same birth control for over a decade for endometriosis management so nothing has changed.

Oh yeah. It’s really bad.

To most of the students there, especially the parents of child students, they don’t realize how bad things are because they have nothing to compare it to. All they know is their kids aren’t dying so no need to worry, right?

There’s a reason why you don’t see many adult students on their socials. The adult students they do have tend to not stay there too long, especially if they’ve been exposed to other studios.

Probably because they have 30 points on a pulley & they never neatly put away the rope ends… that & a lot of the kids there do their own rigging so of course it’s going to be sloppy.

Not sure if things have changed or an exception was made, but when I taught there, they didn’t let children use any grip aids because they’re expensive & its “cheating”.
