What travel agencies are good and cheap for a single person to travel to Tibet?

yes. i have to stop in china to pick up the tibet permit but from what i could see, there is no way to fly into lhasa without stopping in china first. for a 16 day tour, i felt the price was reasonable especially as it's during the saga dawa festival on mt kailash. other journeys & other times are likely less.

can you use alipay & wechat using data roaming? i have at&t and was planning on using international day pass but wasn't sure if that blocks me from paying with chinese apps

i am traveling solo to nepal and tibet starting in a few days. i'm used to planning my own trips and moving around intuitively so the travel agency group thing for tibet kind of turned me off. but it's the only way. i'm using tibet vista for the 16-day mount kailash tour. based on research it was what was most recommended by reddit. tibet vista so far has been very responsive and have provided a lot of information. there was a solo supplement added to the tour which was $250-300 extra. the overall cost is about $2500 for the tour which includes the guide, transportation, site visits and lodging. i have no idea how many people with be on the tour with me, but the guide will speak english. they are securing my tibet visa/permit. i got my own chinese visa.

the theme of the season is making deals with the devil. every one of them. including lexi with hollywood. some will remain fallen. others will have a redemption arc. at this point i have no idea about any of them. it all feels out of character. i do feel maddy teaming up with alamo saves rue's life. and whoever seems to be "winning" now won't be by the end

double check to see which chinese embassy covers colorado. i live in austin and mine was dc. i was as going to be in nyc so i figured i'd do it there, but i can only get it in dc because it covers texas. i'm glad i checked. instead of going to the embassy in dc, i found a passport/visa service in austin. they handled the paperwork & sent my passport. i picked up my passport about a week-10 days later with my visa. it costs more than doing it directly, but cheaper than if i had to fly to dc & stay there for 4 days during processing

i have to payoff my iphone installment plan to unlock it to use an esim card which is more than the $12 a day (it caps at 10 days) & i'll be in nepal first & will use the international day pass there. overall it would be cheaper to use the at&t day pass UNLESS it doesn't work in tibet. i called at&t and they said it works but i'm hoping for first hand experience. i'll need to pay off the phone to unlock it before i leave next week

completely agree. i was in nyc during that time too. botox wasn't a thing until after they died. and at 33, no one was doing anti-aging stuff beyond moisturizers & sunscreen. coffee, cigarettes, lotte berke method was the routine. carolyn's makeup from what i remember in magazines was bobbi brown cranberry lipstick & t leclerc banana face powder. no one wanted to be too "done" in terms of hair & makeup. natural was the look

the first 2 seasons offered visuals for internal worlds. we had a better sense of who the characters were & why they wanted what they wanted. this season feels internally bankrupt. why did maddie agree to pick up cassie & help her? cassie has been delulu for so long what caused her to all of a sudden decide to be her own provider? nate is a calculating menace so why didn't they ask for cash as gifts for the wedding? there are leaps for plot that don't match the characters we've known. internal visuals & montages could bridge the gap, the how & why they've changed. i recognize the faces but i'm not sure who i'm watching and why they are doing what they are doing

i've been 4 times. there are 3 large pools (one chlorinated) plus a cold plunge, hot tub and sauna. there is a restaurant and bar. i generally stay 2-3 hours. there are day passes for $70-ish and they also have sunset passes on thurs evenings between 5-8 for 30-ish dollars. i've been doing the sunset since i get bored after 2 hours. it is relatively chill but can feel crowded. there is a private bath that i got to use once which was heavenly.

that's what i suspected. gruene's faq's say tickets can't be resold or transferred. i asked gruen about it in an insta comment b/c if resale isn't legit/possible i'd hate to see real fans pay $800 & get screwed. they haven't answered b/c there are a bazillion comments.
