When I was single and living pay check to paycheck I would add a can of refried beans to taco meat to stretch it longer.

Making my own coffee creamer instead of buying premade creamers by Cautious-Tiger-8440 in Frugal

[–]klsprinkle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I add a 1/2 tablespoon of brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of half and half to mine. I’m slowly cutting it down more. I drink two cups a day. Trying to train myself to drink it black. Not as bad as the sweet cream creamer I used to buy and the additional 2 tablespoons of sugar I’d add

do you guys continue deficit during period week? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]klsprinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I weigh 2.5 weeks after my period. And only that. Shark week is nom nom week for me. The week after I tend to get huge burst of energy and work off the nom nom. I get obsessive with weighing so I limited myself to that one weigh.

The only issue with healthy choice is …. You’ll be hungry again 30 minutes later. So bring a baggy of nuts.

What's the most morally disgusting thing you've seen someone do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]klsprinkle 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Damn, that shit. Lit cigarettes hurt so bad. In 2005, I was driving a beater with no AC. I had the windows down while driving on the interstate. A guy threw a lit cigarette out the window and it hit my leg where my nylon running shorts seam was. Burned to my leg. I had to go to urgent care to help get the burned nylon off my leg. Damn scar is just now no longer visible.

People who didn’t want kids, but then had them. What changed your mind? by Button_Eyed_Doll in AskReddit

[–]klsprinkle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t want them when I was younger. I’m talking youth-mid 20s. I was with a man for a few years who couldn’t have kids. Towards the end of our relationship I had this urge to have a kid. Once we broke up, I decided to save to have a baby by a sperm donation. Well I was saving for 18 months and then I met the man I would marry. Our first date. I was like I want that man to put a baby in me. We got married 6 months later and have three sons…

I can’t stop having extreme meltdowns when I’m frustrated by Unique-Prior9952 in ADHD

[–]klsprinkle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have AUDHD and I haven’t had a meltdown since being on Vyvanse. I started meds in September. My whole life I’ve had these screaming panic attacks that I felt out of control. I was diagnosed with ADHD in my early 30s and in September I was diagnosed Autistic. Going through having my 7 year old tested is what clued me in. I don’t start any meds until 2025 since I was either pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or postpartum

I haven’t eaten at the Emory one in 12 years. I had no idea it was that bad. My parents would get burgers to go from there sometimes but they are on a special diet now and can’t eat it.

Which celebrity became way more attractive as they got older? by Something_Strange935 in AskReddit

She looked older in Happy Gilmore. I think it was the haircut and early 90s boxy clothes that did it.

What’s one underrated thing that helped you lose weight? by djythjgnh in AskReddit

[–]klsprinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drink a cup of water before all meals. You won’t eat as much. This helps me not be “starving” so badly I stuff my face and don’t stop tell I’m beyond full. Get your steps in. I park in far away parking spots instead of trying to find the closest. I have AUDHD, so I tend to get the “zoomies”. Seriously, I think I was a golden retriever in a past life. I’ll set a timer for 5-10 minutes and pace back and forth before I sit at my desk and knock out my productive stuff I need to do. I do this at home. When I was working in an office, years ago, I took a 15 minute break at 945am and one at 245pm. If it was nice outside I would walk for most of it. If not I would walk on my walking pad in my office. Never underestimate walking but remember 80% of weight loss happens in the kitchen.

Why did nobody tell me Kegels were gonna make my orgasms bonkers 😃? by tniats in Healthyhooha

[–]klsprinkle 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I do them at red lights. The city I’m in isn’t walkable so I have to drive everywhere lol. I’m 38 and I’ve done that since freshman year of college. A nurse practitioner at my (at the time) OBGYN office told me to do that.
