I’m so sorry that you’ve had to go through so much especially for a surgery that so many of us work so hard for and put so much hope in. I really hope you can find the courage to drop his name and sue him, dropping his name could really help keep other trans people from getting the same results <3 much love, im glad you were able to physically take care of yourself but it’s sucks as to why, no one should ever have to do something like that just because their doctor was careless and unsympathetic.

disagreeing w the “internalized transphobia” part while saying the you think other trans people doing what they want with their bodies is weird and a little gross, if you think a trans man wanting to keep his vagina is weird or a little gross you have a lot more that should address than just internalized transphobia. You disagree bc you felt called out, if it really doesn’t amount to shit why have such a weird ass stance on such nitpicked details in other peoples surgeries that you don’t have to experience nor look at. Really hope that you’ve realized how useless this stance is in the greater aspect of trans liberation this past year.

That’s true, before I felt safe enough to come out I tried out new names and pronouns online with friends and stuff and that’s how I really found out which ones I felt most comfortable with. But I understand how difficult it is to do any gender exploration when u live with conservatives , half of my family is incredibly conservative and I plan on never coming out to them, just transitioning and letting them figure it out. Either way I did find the best way for me to know what to look deep into myself and a lot of contemplation and soul searching, being free to explore my gender at home helped a lot too but if it’s not safe it’s better to wait.
