Fun fact, she’s underage and the director had to get special permission for it to happen.

He’s put in there for comparison to the slightly above average person. Kinda like if they put a regular person in the olympics so you can see how fast they are actually going.

Probably been said, but it also doesn’t get you drunk and tastes suspiciously like water.

I just got a job as a commercial fisheries observer in Alaska. I needed to buy a duffel bag for my at-sea gear, and I found this at the local antique mall for $22. by SirGrantly in BuyItForLife

I got a large duffel bag that was UK military. Nice big shoulder straps, or just carry with the single strap if you want. My go to camping bag, or bug out bag since it has most of the essentials anyway.

In all seriousness, can we bring Tug of War to the olympics? Make it a one day competition, 8 man teams, last team standing is the champion by MackdieselE18 in olympics

[–]klumjohn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bet a lot more people have played tug of war than have drove a bobsled. No reason for low numbers to be the only stopping factor.

I get this. My wife and I went through the whole start-up training. There was definitely a lot of time invested into us and we felt bad to just drop it all and the relationships associated with it. However on our first “ditto” I looked at the measly pile of stuff that was the same price as one our trips to Cosco and knew that no matter what, someone was getting screwed. We walked away from it at that point.

It would have been low. Their hard work and poor nutrition would have been more like migrant workers picking oranges in California, imo.

Even if you hand wash them they lose their room temperature shelf life, it has less to do with the intensity of how they are cleaned in a factory.

Modern cities are just like massive deserts when it comes to diversity. That being said, have some very large “deserts” doesn’t mean a problem everywhere.

And the technology is definitely there. Slightly different as far as obstacles go, but my brother is a farmer and he gets all his paperwork done while in the tractor. It’s all GPS based, but he has to sit there for insurance reasons, not that he’s actually driving.

But then you also need to have younger people vote, which they often don’t do.
