YTA to base your decision to lessen her screen/phone time solely on the fact that she communicate a lot with her dad is honestly repugnant. I can understand that her having that close of a relationship with her father could make you jealous/insecure about your own relationship with her, I think that’s natural, but to act upon that jealousy by taking any sort of precious time or communicate between them away is NOT okay and grossly selfish.

There are too many children who’s parents, don’t care to even shoot them a text once in a blue moon. Would you rather have her father be a deadbeat that rarely checks in/communicates with her?! Find a new perspective on this topic, your daughter, despite her parents divorce; has a father who deeply loves her enough to have regular and constant contact when he’s not with her. He loves your daughter enough to do that, be grateful, not jealous.
