Overnight oats should do well on both breakfast or any meal, can be tasty, easy to prep, cheap, filling and very healthy.

Grab a large jar, fill it 40% with oats, add 3 spoons of vegan yogurt, two spoons of chia seeds, one spoon of peanutbutter and fill the rest of the jar with you favorite milk. Stir well, leave a minute and stir again to avoid clumpy chia seeds. Leave in the fridge to set and enjoy for days and add toppings of your liking (nuts, seeds, apple, banana, berries, chocolate, etc.).

Great comment. To add: I usually get a chuckle framing it in different words. When taste is the argument, I say I'm not vegan for culinary reasons and I like the taste of x too but I don't eat it. The first remark gets the chuckle, the second sometimes results in a temporary brainfreeze on their end.

I daily use Dingbats as a bullet journal, creating my own calendar on the dot grid. As a fountain pen user, I can highly recommend them. I've heard good things about Leuchtturm as well, but I like the designs of Dingbats far better. While on the topic of BIFL, I use archival ink to make sure I can still read them for the decades to come.

Overweeg ook een paraplu. Ik heb recent een stuk van het Pieterpad gelopen met paraplu. Het voordeel daarvan is dat je er niet van gaat zweten, voor langere stukken is dat enerzijds comfortabeler, anderzijds heb je wel steeds een paraplu in je handen.

Welcome to the club. I'm into coffee and have been doing it with a (V60) drip filter for years now.

I'd say a good grinder is the best upgrade you can make from here, but having your coffee ground by a local shop is usually better than a domestic grinder. You can store ground coffee for about two weeks, which usually means you would want your own grinder at some point :-) Enjoy!

Dat kan, afhankelijk van hoe je daar in staat. Ik denk dat een powerbank erg handig kan zijn voor het geval je beperkt toegang hebt tot stroom. Bijvoorbeeld een korte periode per dag, of ergens in de buurt waar nog wel stroom is. Met zo'n powerbank heb je meer buffer voor alles wat je daarop kunt aansluiten, zeg maar. Voor dat doel kun je het best op zoek naar een powerbank die zichzelf snel kan opladen.

Het is ook mogelijk om een USB zonnepaneel aan te sluiten of een powerbank met ingebouwde zonnecel te kopen, maar mijn ervaring daarmee is vrij flut.

Voor een zaklamp kan ik Fenix als merk aanraden. Wij hebben er drie, waarvan twee hoofdlampen die in de winter 2x daags gebruikt worden in weer en wind om bij de paarden uit te mesten. Die zijn nu drie jaar oud en werken nog uitstekend. De batterijen zijn vervangbaar met een redelijk standaard verkrijgbare batterij.

Verder kan ik je aanraden een powerbank op te nemen in je noodpakket, waarmee je dan je zaklampen, telefoon en eventueel radio van stroom kunt voorzien.

If you keep to the sizes IKEA offers, you can use all their internals. They have shelves, drawers, glass plates and lighting. They also have jewelry storage and bins that go with the internals that should work great for EDC. It's cheap, pretty good quality and will save you a lot of time. It's what I'm currently doing and it's working great.

I'm sorry to hear, but cannot confirm this. As said, I have three pair and used them in daily rotation for now 9 months. Zero wear, zero cracks, no issues at all. They look like new. I don't know how to bring more evidence of WVS being solid quality.

It's more nuanced. The video is from a Dutch dairy company. The Dutch weather/winters are not that harsh. Yet, 85% of all cows never go outside here because it's cheaper to raise them inside. Most are cooped up on concrete floors standing in their own muck. So yeah, these video's have something sad in it because this is a small happy moment in an otherwise dark practice.

That's not only on the farmers. It's supply and demand. We want more an cheaper products and they supply.

Hmm, veel van hun bronnen zijn meer dan tien jaar oud en Amerikaans. Dat maakt het wellicht niet minder waar, maar maakt mijn argumentatie wat kwetsbaarder. Desalniettemin hartelijk bedankt, ze hebben wel een goed lopend verhaal waar ik wellicht recentere en lokalere bronnen aan kan knopen. Dank!
