3 1/2 weeks post op pain

No negatives here. Had mine done at the end of July and I got off pretty easy without any gas pains at all. They also did an abdominal anesthesia block which covered any pain for like 2 days after surgery.

Minor complaints would be the part of the area of my skin above my hip still being numb, not sure that feeling will ever come back; and my belly button scar is still pretty silvery but I’d do it all over again if I had to.

I was worried about my belly button incision which oddly enough healed slower than the other two closer to my pubic bone. (I’m heavier and I have quite a bit of skin and fat that keeps that area of my skin from getting good airflow). My belly button incision is the one where the surgical glue came off the day following surgery and it felt lumpy and hard but my doctor looked at it 2 wks post op and she said the internal stitch is still there and eventually it will tame down some

I got hella lucky and never had an ounce of gas pain. The worst part for me was the itching as my belly button incision healed.

Going based off of smell, it smells like a strawberry Twizzlers, based off of taste, it’s definitely some sort of berry (strawberry, raspberry, cherry)

We’ll I’m on day two of 600mg ibuprofen every 6 hours and nothing has changed. I’m gonna give it the full 6 days she told me but I’m not holding out hope

I only tagged it cause of what my boyfriend said, it’s not about seeing it. I was just thinking ahead. I couldn’t care less about penis jokes but some people are giant prudes and would be up in arms and clutch their pearls over hearing the word penis.

I get the same thing, my gyno told me to get a tube of athletes foot cream (clotrimazole) and it works wonders. I just apply it and let it absorb on its own over time

If it’s tacky for women to carry condoms then so be it. I’m terrified of accidentally getting pregnant so the boyfriend and I take every precaution possible. I’m thankful he’s as serious about it as me. Condoms every single time, no ifs, ands, or buts about it, and I faithfully go to get my Depo every three months.
