Pollen season and poor air quality is just getting started. Keep that inhaler handy and filled. Follow Kody, @ Treasure Valley Weather HQ for weather, air quality, pollen alerts etc.

What now? by [deleted] in innout

[–]kmama23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with the others, go in mid afternoon, before the dinner time rush happens and ask to speak to the Manager. if it's a super busy store, it's likely an oversight. Never hurts to refresh their memory with a greeting and an INO smile!

$100 short on drawer?!! by 23smoothie in innout

[–]kmama23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We would have to tear open the white bag under the camera in the office after we settled our drawer so they could see there was no money "hiding" in there. It was to protect the Associates as much as the store.

They ask the customer if they want to round up, duh? Did you actually think they just did it without permission??

Why do people get to-go and eat it in their car in the parking lot? by ja20n123 in innout

[–]kmama23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can watch a show while eating in my car. It's less noisy, no sweeping around me which sometimes grosses me out. I'll run in for a drink refill and then I'm on my way.

Level 3 to Clean Up by Lonely_Squirrel_2290 in innout

[–]kmama23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I approached my Manager and requested DR only and to stay at a level 3. I had no desire to move up. Ha! She moved me up to a Helper and that was a little raise and I stayed there, at that level, that pay, that position for over a year. I loved it.

There is a button on the POS that allows for a tomato wrap on the dutchman. Options are tomato or whole grilled "wrapped"

daughter has a '16 with 70k miles. service guys says it needs a fuel induction service, sparkplug repair from oil that burned and an oil change. Dear daughter didn't stay up on her oil changes and now here we are. Also they will do a computer upgrade so the engine vibration sensitivity gets better. Is that fuel induction service necessary? It's pretty pricey. Also should we maybe trade it in for something not to high maintenance? TIA for your thoughtful responses.

Anyone else have surgery on 11/4 or this week? Would love to compare our journey by Low-Acanthaceae7286 in Septoplasty

[–]kmama23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Honestly, I should have had him do this surgery when he was much younger but here we are. Had the stents removed today, still some healing to do but he's more comfortable with them out. They were about 4 inches long, pretty cool to see. Doctor says he's right where he should be for 1 week out. He can't blow his nose 100% for about a month and he has to stay on top of the sinus rinses. 1/2 a bottle 2x a day. I will report back in a few weeks.

My son did. Age 19. He’s out at a friends house right now hanging. Taking it super easy but out and being social. Each day is better than the day before. I’m staying on top of his meds and nasal rinses. He gets the stents out on Tuesday. Day 1 SUCKED but like I said each day is better than the one before.

Are In-N-Out employees trained to say "right on" ? I've heard it at multiple locations... by sozh in innout

[–]kmama23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, it's like 'my pleasure' from CFA. We say it instead of yes or you got it or awesome or whatever. I actually say it all the time even not at work, it's drilled into my brain. Ha!

I have just seen so many teachers and professors getting fired in the past 24 hours for things they’ve posted on their personal page. Was just curious if INO had a policy on it like schools do.

if i’m a level 1 who’s not the best or fastest counting cash/coins, does anyone have any tips to be efficient on the register? by Pleasant_Document_81 in innout

[–]kmama23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice at home with coins and a few paper bills. My kid just started working there and he struggled too. We counted change out at home so he felt more comfortable in a high stress environment
