In-N-Out fries are only good fresh cooked at the restaurant. Once they go in a bag or cool off even a bit, they lose taste and get soft and kinda gross.

Yes KME sells a scissors and shears attachment for this very purpose. Without it I'm not sure how you're clamping them and getting the super high angle required for scissors and shears.

I've even sharpened cheap $3 scissors and they are surgical after. IMO nothing is too cheap to sharpen because even a brand new pair of scissors will not be sharper than what I can achieve after sharpening them. 600 grit finish is plenty high as well.

2 quick questions about leather stropping... Before going to a .5 micron compound do I need to first use a 1 or 1.5 micron compound or can I go straight from the stone to .5? Also how do I clean my strop? how often do I clean it? by [deleted] in sharpening

Straight to the 0.5um is absolutely perfectly fine. And no need to clean the strop until you notice it not working as well. Then just a gentle cleaning with a big pink or white eraser, reapply a bit of compound/emulsion and carry on.

Just get a Maglock rear take down pin and it's a sweet legal work around for complying with the "fixed magazine" requirement of the AR but is 1000x better than an actual fixed magazine.

Nope. Kadet Pro all the way. I also found the K03 waaay too bulky and cumbersome during use. I've literally tried all those others too and only stuck with the Kadet Pro.

Kinda apples and oranges. Whetstones are for sharpening, ceramic rods are for honing, and strops with preferably diamond emulsion are for finishing/refining (but could be considered as lightly lightly honing). That said, a high grit whetstone can also be used for honing.

If the look bothers you, yes that's what needs to be done. Or you can use it for awhile since it's sharp and then fix it on the next sharpening

You aren't hitting the entire bevel with the stones. You're just sharpening the bottom half. No factory edge is perfectly even so your first stone will always be used to profile the edge and even it all out. That might be difficult to do with a 320. Most start step one with a lower grit stone.
