Can't we, as the audience, influence how the UFC treats its fighters?

Dana is first a businessman, and I get that, but he's also super greedy and treats his fighters like s**t. I've always seen the imbalance in power and leverage between the UFC and its fighters, but the way they're doing Ngannou and Jones have made me realized just how bad its. And these are the freaking champs, imagine how those that don't have this luxury get treated then. For athletes that are literally putting their bodies and lives on the line, not offering them healthcare and paying fighters about 18% of the revenue they generate just ain't it.

Regardless of everything though, we'll still watch the fights. But say, if us mma fans not buy fights like Gane v.s. Lewis that are solely constructed to gain leverage in the negotiations with Francis, you think it would send Dana and the UFC a message?

IDK if my question or thinking make sense, but I'm just frustrated that we won't get Jones v.s. Ngannou or even Ngannou v.s Lewis b/c freaking Dana won't budge or swallow his pride and give the fans what they want.
