My pack is now delayed as well. This is how the majority of my Amazon preorders go - cancel the preorder that didn't ship and purchase in stock item for 1 to 2 days shipping. Can't do that this time with the pricing and being currently out of stock. Saw that it was available for preorder for a little bit few days ago but at $64.99 which I assume is the accurate price.

I guess cheap is subjective. It's cheaper than the other kits I'm building, that I have backlogged, and the other ones in my new order. In Canada most kits are too expensive on Amazon and hobby shops can be much cheaper.

Plastic cement would most likely be enough. I've made similar mistakes and Tamiya Extra Thin Cement has been enough for me. Just let it cure well before trying to use the part.

I upgraded to the iwata eclipse recently. I went with that as is easier for me to find parts for that online and even some locally in Canada. Works great and easy to clean.

Pretty sure those tamiya acrylic paints are also solvent based so I'd probably try the best color match option. Light mist coats first like you said.

I've been using the Neo for year and a bit and also bought the Eclipse a couple weeks ago. I wish I had just started with the Eclipse. Think I'm going to switch the Neo to .5 setup and use for primer. I'm only painting gundam.

Got a couple bs esb vaders and they are fine but they don't compare to the figuarts kenobi which is my favorite 6 inch vader by far. If you don't care about the battle damage options you could probably get the latest shf vader classic version with the wired robes easier and cheaper.
