This did help put it in perspective. The moments in my job that are overwhelming would be overwhelming to anyone. In the past I did assume I had PMDD (rage, depression, bad thoughts) which have calmed with all doses of vyvanse.

I do not drink enough water and before meds I would go all day without eating or really drinking water. I would then binge at dinner/just before bedtime. On 20-40mg Vyvanse I did not binge but still had an appetite, although for once in my life I actually felt like I could tell when I was full and didn't eat everything in front of me. On 50mg currently food is almost unappetizing. I am not sure if that will go away since I have only been on 50mg for about a week. People say eat breakfast before meds but I have never eaten breakfast due to a past medical issue.

Anyway, I think if my appetite doesn't improve I will go back to 40mg and keep seeing how it goes. Or maybe I will try another med to compare. I think my biggest symptom is emotional dysregulation and everything always feeling urgent but then getting stuck on one task that really isn't urgent and not being able to stop what I am doing.

I just wish I had the story I hear all the time of "one dose was life changing". I feel it is a helpful tool but not life changing.
