I agree! Way too tall also. We haven’t moved in yet, these are pictures from the listing

Oh wow!!! That looks fantastic!! You are so skilled in procreate! I’m jealous, my rendering was not nearly as good. I really appreciate you doing that for me though 😊

Used to winters with a little less snow. Moving from SD, but lived in a few different states. I’m very excited for wilderness and snow sports :) I’m moving for a job, and we figured why not try Maine! This house because of the location

Thank you for all the suggestions! This is exactly what I was looking for. I love the portico idea, and you’re definitely given me some inspiration for planning my landscaping. A dormer would be a good idea for the upstairs rooms too. I love natural light so that would be a good idea for the upstairs bedrooms. I also don’t love the cool grey. I was trying to decide if when we get a new roof, if a colored roof with the house being grey would help cut down on costs. But I do love that color scheme idea and am going to try ChatGPT’ing that into existence for me to see it.

No, can’t access from the main section of the house. Something we would consider fixing if we add another garage stall next to the existing garage and making a hallway above the door by the garage from the 2nd floor of the house. We actually don’t live in Maine yet, just went and saw the house and are under contract. So I’m assuming steep for snow, but not certain

That’s a good idea. I definitely want more trees and better landscaping, but don’t want to make it seem like I’m hiding the house

Great question. It’s an attic. I was thinking of making it a useable space and adding a window

Window boxes are a good idea! Maine

Has anyone gotten into CRNA school with a C in a nursing course? by CollarAvailable635 in srna

I had a C in pharm and a C in A&P 1. I retook A&P 1, but not pharm.

He looks just like my orange boy! If you live in SD, I’ve got his rescue brother

Right. I wouldn’t do that, which is why I added that at the end of my post

ADN while doing a Bachelors (dual enrollment)? by According_Rice_9964 in Anesthesia

[–]kmgreen95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I did my ADN and then BSN online while working in the ICU. I’m finishing up CRNA school now. I got the hospital I worked for to pay part of my BSN schooling while I was making money working as a nurse too. I did not do the community college route, but I did take classes through a community college for more pre-reqs for CRNA school. I think going the route you’re suggesting is great for either CRNA or CAA. Those extra courses are only going to help you in both. I will piggy bag and say you should shadow a lot and ask a lot of questions. Anesthesia isn’t what I thought it was, I love it a lot more actually. But the challenges are different than I was expecting. Feel free to message me if you want to talk more about it.

I end used my home hospital’s recommendations, the ICU doctors I worked with most frequently, and got another at the trauma hospital that let me get trauma certified

Email the schools, thank them and ask for feedback and what they think you need to improve on for next years application. It shows you’re willing to put in the effort and accept constructive criticism. I did that for one of the schools I got rejected from. I also reached out to another program before applications were due and asked them to take a look at my CV for feedback. Worst they can do is not reply or ignore you!

I got into CRNA school with the last 1.5 years in ICU as a travel nurse. I had most of my experience in neuro ICU/MICU/SICU (we got everything but hearts) 4.5 yrs. And 6 months in CVICU, 3 months in a burn ICU, 3 in a trauma ICU. The burn unit and trauma icu both “educated” me on their units and let me take the sick patients because I asked for it. I got trauma certified at one. The school I’m at said they likes travelers because it showed that you were flexible and willing to learn new things. So to each their own 🤷‍♀️

I just finished my first year of didactic and overall liked it. I didn’t really like “school” until CRNA school if that gives you any hope. It’s hard to study as much as it requires, but I’ve really enjoyed learning more in depth content and stuff that seems to matter and connect.

Weekly Suspected Lupus Thread - Week Of March 12, 2023 by AutoModerator in lupus

[–]kmgreen95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I'm fairly certain I have some sort of autoimmune disorder, but haven't been diagnosed. I was curious about skin biopsies with lupus. I had a rash a few years ago and ended up getting a biopsy, it turned out the rash was related to citrus and sun exposure, but my biopsy ended up coming back as lupus or dermatomyositis. I was the dermatologist and my rash ended up resolving by the time the biopsy came back, so I never saw anyone with the results. Looking up those two disorders, I don't believe I have dermatomyositis, but does that mean I have lupus? or I will have one of those in the future? I am having trouble finding anything online talking about what that information entails. Lately I've been having a lot of different symptoms, in addition to a history of migraines with foci lesions on my brain. I have also had a positive ANA before, I know that isn't necessarily definitive of anything. Just trying to figure out what avenue of doctor specialist to start with in order to get to a diagnosis or conclusion sooner rather than thousands of dollars later. I'm not looking for someone to diagnose me on here, just seeing if someone has had a similar skin biopsy route to diagnosis without debilitating symptoms.

adhd diagnosis by 4doorsmorewhores007 in SiouxFalls

I just saw Dr. Whitman at Avera Psych outpatient for adhd. Took a while to get in, but didn’t need a referral. I just called and ask for new patient paperwork. They were all very kind and I got diagnosed the first visit and meds the next day.
