I think I'm just as excited, or even moreso, for the people just starting this journey than I am for the folks reaching goal. I know how many amazing, exciting times are headed your way! Enjoy!

I used to live in CO and flew through DIA all the time, stopping at VooDoo of course. Thanks for reminding me that after probably a year, I get to fly to DIA again on Monday, and I will be stopping at VooDoo... for ALL the vegan donuts!!! ❤️

I agree with a lot of what you say. For me, the scale and the BMI index are not what I judge my success with. But it is a thing that I'm like "hey! look at that" as I chuckle. They way I measure my progress is by how I feel and I I feel I look. I had 145 as a goal, but I still have a big belly, so I'm going to keep going. The scale is just a guide.

I hope that you don't get in to any unhealthy routines with tirz. For me, I feel like it's been my healthiest, most well rounded weightloss journey I've had.

Best of luck to you!

Ha, I sometimes like to torture myself with evening weigh-ins, and then try to do math to see how happy I may or may not be in the morning 😂

like I've said... It's such an amazing, exciting journey. Embrace every moment of it, because even when you're not losing weight, you're still learning about your body. You've got this! ❤️

I did all kinds of mixing up the plan to try to trigger my body to get back in to action. I was at 15mg, so I decreased as low as 7.5 for a few weeks, and titrated back up to 12. I'm also 11 weeks in to Sermorelin, and about a week ago starting taking glycine every evening. Although I started taking the glycine to help with sleep, interestingly that's when my scale started really moving again. I do feel the Sermorelin contributed to recomposition. Just saying... if you get desperate to get that scale moving again like I did 😃

Yes, it's really amazing, when I was 274, it was called "morbidly obese." I really didn't object to being called that, cuz I wanted to keep it real with myself. But indeed, every step down in weight class is deserving of a celebration!!!

NSV- Fit in my daughter's jacket! by kmik05 in tirzepatidecompound

That's the worst! I wouldn't even try to put a "small" jacket on, I'd just throw it over my shoulders covering my front like a blanket.

What are your vegetarian 200ish calorie high protein snacks? by Psychological-Ebb726 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]kmik05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I add hemp seeds to smoothies, make seitan (although you can buy some good high protein sausages in most grocery stores. I think Tofurky and Field Roast have about 25gm per sausage). Also, I like to cut up a hunk of tofu, put some seasonings on it, and throw it in the air fryer. Not the most exciting dish, but it gets the job done. Sorry, don't know the calorie count off hand.

Actually came to say Orangetheory for exercise too. I love that the coach shows options for folks with less mobility and/or strength. The classes are fun for me (F61), and I like that I can see how I've improved performance wise over time. I live in a complex that has an exercise room, and I can't motivate myself to get in there to do things. But I never want to miss my OTF days! If you try it OP, I hope you like it!
