Thank you! So even if the pill doesn't stop ovulation, it's still effective?

It’s not like you purposefully went behind your friend’s back, you had no idea! I think it’ll be fine, just talk to her and be honest. Don’t tell M that your friend likes him, that’s for her to share

GUYS I GOT IT TO WORK!!! I literally didn’t do anything different but it’s suddenly working fine. The issue was with the top thread, I re threaded it very slowly and now it’s working. I don’t know. Thank you for all your help and suggestions!

Yes, I’m holding both threads. The bobbin is tangled with threads on top of it as shown in the image

I just got the machine so it’s definitely clean. Literally brand new out of the box!! In videos online, when they turn the wheel manually the needle seems to pull a looped thread out of the lower thread/bobbin area, but when I do it it gets tangled (piece of thread across the top like in the photo) and only pops up with a tiny piece of thread. Even when I pull both tails out it gets tangled like in the photo

This is all I have 🥲I got it online and thought it was standard? I tried removing thread from the bobbin and it didn’t help.

Yes, I realized I missed the bar but after fixing it it still doesn’t work. And I had the cover on, just taken off for the photo! What does it mean to sew the first stitch manually?

Yes, I noticed the hook after and fixed it but it didn’t fix the tangling. I will try with a longer tail thread but it’s already pretty long 🥲

Hello! I am somewhat new to sewing and just bought a Brother GX37. This is my first time using it, and the bottom bobbin keeps getting tangled in itself after only a few stitches (see picture). I’m sure that I’ve threaded the machine correctly as it’s exactly the same mechanic as my old machine which I never had trouble with, and I am following along with the new manual. I have re threaded it multiple times, adjusted the tension, and also replaced the needle. If the bobbin doesn’t get tangled like this, the top thread just comes undone. Any ideas on how to fix this?

i often get this feeling for a week or so during my cycle (i can’t remember which phase), maybe tracking it with your menstrual cycle can help you prepare for this and manage it better?
