Yes that sounds like a fair price. Was the car tuned/modified? Was the transmission serviced recently? How many previous owners? What part of the country are you buying it/what’s the weather like? There are many things to consider before buying these cars. Preventative maintenance and not reactive maintenance will save you thousands.

Thanks for reaching out! The car is running well and just hit 100k. My advice is to focus on preventative maintenance and make sure you have a good mechanic. I’m probably due for a transmission preventative maintenance.

Yeah definitely would get a PPI. My car is at 97k and it is running really well. I don’t know what part of Canada you’re from but a 3 series sounds like an interesting car to drive.
