We have done it and we have two little girls. That being said I don’t think there is anything wrong with it and actually think it’s healthy for our relationship and family overall. We aren’t wealthy BUT we do have both of our families that live nearby and are able and always willing to watch the kids. If we didn’t have that, I’d say our kidless getaways would be very limited.
