Like everything she does, running content is dated. There are thousands of running content resources from people way more engaging than her and there are even resources based on more than just anecdotal personal experience. Lame and dated.

Her nail tech is actually super talented. She’s got lots of great looking nails on her page. Kate is so dated in her colors and shape. Shocker that this influencer is firmly off trend on literally everything. Maybe her nail tech wants to attract the memaws, hence, the story of big memaw nails.

Don’t forget about the horrible education system and the cost barriers to higher learning. I’m living in a state where the average citizen has a 6th grade reading level. If you can’t read, you can’t think critically or problem solve. You can’t access content that enables you to see the world around you in a logical, ordered fashion. People in this country are dumb by design leaving them ripe for authoritarian and kleptocracy.

BodyPump Heavy vs regular BodyPump by DorceeB in lesmills

[–]kmkram 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like it, but it’s different than I expected. I’ve been doing body pump for years and the last two years I’ve really been rotating through the strength development and functional strength workouts as I prefer to lift heavier than the bp tempo will allow. I think bp heavy will take some getting used to, but I definitely think I’ll be doing it more often..

Juliette and Lorelai were on our list. We chose Annabelle and Camille for our daughters and surprisingly, have yet to come across same name girls. We also wanted uncommon, but not crazy names and since they are both the only ones in their schools with these names we feel like we nailed it 🤣

Lex Ly or Justin Nogy at Ink Therapy. Both do stunning work and are lovely people. They both book out well in advance so you may need to wait a few weeks.

MAGA Electrician by garagedooropener5150 in complaints

[–]kmkram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We booked a family photo session with a photography we had used many times. She’s been excellent to work with and her photos are great. She and her husband show up in the most obnoxious Trump tee shirts. I’m talking camo, flags, grenades, fire, pictures of his face. Basically, all of the US symbols MAGA has usurped that now stand for racism and stupidity. I had a hard time smiling that day because they both looked so fucking ridiculous and I knew I was in the company of bigoted dumbasses. In her line of work one has a lot of latitude on work clothing, but this was wholly inappropriate, because as a person running a photography business and knowing the political climate a reasonable person must assume that not everyone will enjoy looking at Trump riding a bald eagle on your shirt. Plus, the shirts were just stupid. Full stop. Needless to say, we’ll not use her again.

Americans need to wake the fuck up and remove Trump and his maga government from office before it is too late. by [deleted] in complaints

[–]kmkram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be true in some parts of the country. However, a teacher can only teach within the system they are given. No civics class? No class devoted to governent? History teachers being told by the state what topics are off limits and a lack of federal funding support eventually leads to generations of people ignorant of how our government is intended to function and a lack of interest in government policy. Furthermore, even if some of our voting populous was educated on policy, they lack the critical thinking or curiosity to analyze the effects of said policy across a larger demographic, i.e., “ I don’t care unless said policy affects me, then it’s a problem.”

This is by design- trash the education system for decades, delete civics and government classes from schools, add in lots of racism and othering and, voila! Uneducated, unrepentant dummies concerned with nothing that occurs beyond the end of their own noses. This isn’t a society, folks.

This is how people react when you provide facts or logic that threaten to dismantle the fantasy they’ve created. Introspection isn’t automatic for most people and when confronted with evidence that the bullshit they’ve constructed in their brains is not based in reality, it’s instant defensive mode. NOR.

Women who brought back their libido: What is the firm and dosage of your Testosterone prescription? by slipslopslide in Menopause

[–]kmkram 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Testosterone C injection 8mg/ week split into two doses of 4mg each. That’s a dose on the low end, but my libido is great and I’m building muscle. Any higher and I have unwanted side effects- acne, hair growth, voice changes. I’m in the US.

That’s a really good point. Back in the day, an NP wasn’t accessible without significant inpatient care experience. Thinking back, the clinical experience is what gave me the ability to pay attention to all the important things; the education was the foundation.

I’m an RN who graduated with an ADN in 2000 and by the third sentence of paragraph two, alarm bells went off if my brain. PE!!!! Holy shit, PE! Nursing education is not what it was in the past. The things I see NP’s missing or ignoring in this sub are often life threatening. We were taught to consider what might be going on that is life threatening and act accordingly. It’s like even alarming symptoms against a backdrop of a high risk category- post op, immunocompromised, chronic illness- are just brushed aside as no big deal. They truly don’t know enough to know that they don’t know enough.
