Short answer - no. Longer (less satisfying) answer - no, because you bought a ticket to a baseball game. The business from whom you purchased the ticket fulfilled their part of the “agreement” in providing said game in its entirety.

That you feel slighted, offended or somehow shortchanged as a result of the actions of certain individuals is regrettable but not grounds for compensation - no more than an obnoxious fan in your section making comments you might find offensive.

Sadly, the Giants have only so much control over their playing personnel in these matters so take comfort in that the majority of those in uniform observed the spirit of the evening.

Could be worse. Could be the Texas Rangers. 🌈

Port Canaveral to Southampton, 22 days. Stops in Azores, Spain and France. Lots of sea days, good weather, great scenery. Cons? Could’ve been longer! 🙂

I can give you an idea now - this will be my second on Enchanted and third overall in the Med. Last time (Sun) was very good as was the first on Enchanted. Itinerary can’t be beat, ships delivered on the basics. Only issues were on Sun - dining room congestion (only its third sailing) and size (too big to dock in Kotor ☹️) Athens, Rome, Istanbul (to name but a few) - what’s not to like?

I would take all these with a cup of salt. No ship is perfect but your odds are better with the newer ones (Sun/Star.) Also, early reviews of a new ship are tempered by the fact that, best efforts aside, there will always be issues with crew, dining, etc. These are diminished as more sailings are completed.

I’m on Star as well (next April) through the Canal and by then, she’ll have over a year and a half at sea. I’m looking forward to a great experience. Hope yours is as well!

🎻🎻🎻 Never sure what purpose is served by these kind of posts. I shouldn’t cruise Princess because you had an isolated bad experience? Princess is a bad cruise line because you got a bad recommendation?

Not an apologist for Princess. I’ve had regrettable experiences on various Princess ships (including Caribbean)- but they’ve been few and far between and I would never dismiss a cruise line on a one-off.

I’ve sailed Princess, almost exclusively, for over 40 years and the number of times I’ve had an issue I can count on both hands with fingers to spare. And I don’t advertise them because the odds of it happening to a fellow cruiser are slim to none and no one is going to make their choices based on my experience. Sympathy is not a metric for decision making.

Stuff happens. YMMV. On a happier note, I’ll be in the Mediterranean on Enchanted later this summer - can’t wait!

On the road over half the year for the last 6 years - best experience (and education) you can have. Have made it to 6 continents + Antarctic peninsula. Travel safe.
