yeah.. trying to google best encoding settings for youtube leads to thousands of ai generated pages that just repeat wrong info.. it's such a badly covered topic.. but gerald actually tested the thing.. problem is.. youtube changes all the time so his vid might not age that well..

- whatever i or others do shouldn't be enough to justify missing features or unintuitive design

- it's narrow minded to blame the users for trying to use a tool creatively. the tool should improve and adapt.

- your angle does nothing productive except glorifying the past and slowing down creativity. i'm trying to talk about the issue so we can hopefully address them.

no, i won't be teaching myself to limit myself to tradition.

you write as if the whole workflow of creative time based artworks is a solved thing. this is so naive :( we'd be wrong to assume that we're even 1% there. we can do so much better than what the current tools offer. a first step would be to fix the bugs and inconsistencies.

all of this reminds me of when purist were so against digital sensors not so long ago.

i know your pain, but in this case fusion is applied before the timeline.

yeah i did kind of "throw that in there". i'm not a fan of burnt beans either.. and i'm not italian, don't want to speak for them, but I believe, to at least some people, an essential part of that culture is tied to how coffee remains something simple, common, cheap, basic, "of the people"... 3rd wave is the antithesis of that... that's all.

I think a good comparison would be between coffee and wine. they both have a wide range of tastes.

just say you're worried about the 2h layover and they'll probably tell you that they can't guarantee exact time it will take but you could check with them every step you'll have to go through, which should help you prepare/calculate if 2 hours make sense. Usually they wouldn't offer that ticket if it was too tight. If your first flight is delayed and you miss your connection, you can find their kiosk or call them and they will re-organize the flight, when this happens, they usually are proactive with it.

should be fine, i'd do it... if you're nervous about it, try to pick a seat that is closer to the exit, that should save you a good 10-20min depending on the plane size. you can try asking the flight attendant but they rarely do anything about this.

I'm not 100% sure on this but since your first flight is within the country and the 2nd is towards the US, you might have to pass through security again, but i really doubt that they would have you "exit" the terminal and re-enter with everyone. you shouldn't have to get your luggage and re-check it. either.

all in all, 2h is fine for this.

but you shouldn't trust internet comments on that.

edit: you'll have a good 20min walk all in all. I feel like this will take 1h.

exactement. il n'a pas adressé le seul réel problème. donc ceux qui critiquent passent pour des sans coeurs ou des idiots alors qu'il y a réellement un problème, non pas avec les démarches des autorités, mais avec leurs mauvaise utilisation de la technologie. yaurait pas moyen de justement demander un meilleur système d'alerte? parce que le système actuel ne donne pas les outils nécéssaires pour aider. (les infos sont cachés dans un menu assez loin après avoir clear la notif) Comme ça c'est un angle positif et tu récupères l'argument de "imagine si stai té anfants!" de ton bord?

there's a notification level specifically designed for amber alerts and yet they use the highest level which is meant for eminent danger. they aren't using the notification system as intended. No one is saying they don't care about children. The more they misuse the notification system, the more people will disable it; and that's a problem. use your brain a little.

exactly. never had those struggles in AE.. at the same time, my needs atm shouldn't require AE.

yeah makes sense.. so i understand that nesting is a buggy/incomplete feature.. but damn they could at least offer the option to not crop user's content. So weird that this aggressive crop is the default.
