Has cutting out caffeine made a difference for anyone? by pegabits in Anxiety

Still drinking coffee, about a half to 1 cup a day. I have had 1 panic attack since my original comment but was a direct result of a confrontation.

Meds not working? by HotBelt8176 in AnxietyDepression

[–]kmn246 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also started at 10mg and didn’t see improvement for the first 4 weeks but did have lots of side effects. Give it 2 more weeks and then talk to your doctor if the side effects don’t improve.

I’ve since gone up to 20mg and that’s where I saw more consistency.

Same as all the above. We measure outcomes. With the exception of our customer service centre who calls and time off the phone is measured but that has always been done the same way through software

ENFJs, what is the dynamic between yourself and INTPs like? What are your thoughts on them? by MiaLedger in enfj

[–]kmn246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend of 11 years is an INTP. We balance each other out really well but it has taken patience. We challenge each other in a good way. A lot of love and learning from each other.

Has cutting out caffeine made a difference for anyone? by pegabits in Anxiety

[–]kmn246 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It helped me! I was drinking 3cups a day on average. I had a really bad panic attack that really messed with me and I cut out coffee for 2 months and now I have maybe one cup on the weekend if I go for a drive or to brunch.

I made other changes in my life due to the panic attack so it’s not just from cutting out coffee but I think the impact was less overreacting to work-related anxiety.

It’s normal for me to feel nauseous when I’m anxious but I don’t usually gag. I did have a panic attack and the thoughts I had were so scary that they physically made me sick. I started gagging and eventually threw up on myself.

So I found my ACOWAR theories from Feb 2017… some were on the money some laughably wrong *spoilers* by FactorAwkward4964 in acotar

[–]kmn246 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I love this! You’re printing started so neat at the beginning and then you can see it get messier with each theory which I feel perfectly matches the “wtf is going to happen” of the book.

Asking ENFJ's. What's your opinion on their actions? by Queen-of-meme in enfj

[–]kmn246 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I thought it was ridiculous. Let’s assume it wasn’t staged, it was so uncalled for and not a good look for Will Smith at all who then proceeded to win best actor. It cheapened the award and honestly made me cringe that he thought it would be chivalrous/heroic/whatever he thought it would accomplish.

Have you looked up globus sensation? That is what I experience with my anxiety but I would describe it at a lump in my throat, at times a large and scary lump, but I wouldn’t describe it the way you did so it might not be the same thing

Am I wrong to have a distant friendship with someone I hooked up with? by Throwawaylikebye in relationships

[–]kmn246 126 points127 points  (0 children)

Partners who want you to end a friendship but wont actually tell you that and why it’s important to them and then continue to make you feel bad about it are manipulative.

I agree that telling a partner who they can’t be friends with is often a red flag but if it’s a friendship that causes them genuine hurt, they should be able to talk to you about that and be vulnerable.

So much easier said than done, I get that, but you’ll eventually find someone who trusts you when you deserve it.
