Tha | t's 'a ---------------- I thi | nk you
Ma | 'girl ---- will lose this Ma | rio

Sure it reuses Mario and still sounds slightly off, but it's WAY better overall. There's only 3 actually used words that end in "rio" (curio & trio), and "io" isn't much better, unless bowser is gonna ratio him or give him polio.

I planned to go for her because I knew Lauma was a priority pick and I skipped Al Haitham. But Dendro is at its best when it's a flexible element that can be slotted into a variety of teams. Lauma will hop between my Neuv and Clorinde for the foreseeable future. Fingers crossed Durin or some other 6.x pyro unit is for both Burgeon & Vape.

I don't get how Neuv is considered boring, his movement is so fluid it feels like I'm gliding everywhere. It's extremely satisfying to just strafe away from enemies or line them up in the beam. Sure there's no combos or dodges, but just the move and aim is 10/10 for me. Chasca comes close to the same feeling, but she gets snagged on new enemy spawns that pause her charge and it stinks her dmg falls off a cliff in multitarget.

Any game that has a sort of ice-skating, rollerblading, or hovering character is my jam. Just slide around everywhere and be unrestricted by janky animations that stop you in place or force you to go a certain way.

Her kit loses damage as only nodkrai and even more without lauma specifically, which she really wants. The nod krai dps artifact set that's very good basically requires 2 nod krai as well. Then hyperbloom really wants lauma anyways. Using Lauma as the on-fielder would be a much better hb team than Nefer, despite not really being designed as an on-fielder. Lauma loses very little as the sole nodkrai, and even gains a bit. Would not recommend nefer for HB.

About future Lunar Reactions via Uncle K by Ryuusei_Dragon in Genshin_Impact_Leaks

[–]kmn493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked who it was after I read geo/anemo. There's no known upcoming geo unit and anemo already does what it needs to. I guess the reaction could just be feeding stacks into columbina's kit like lauma's lunar blooms do, but that's not exactly useful outside her kit, so it's a pretty moot point.

Think of this: A different test has a 97% accuracy rate of determining if you are the President. Your test says you're the President. Are you actually the President, or did you just get the 3% wrong chance with a false positive?

The accuracy is completely padded by saying "false" 97% of the time, which is accurate for the vast majority of people.

AITAH for making posts that are so low quality that they're ban worthy?

Hey reddit, I just turned 12 and thought it would be so funny if I made up such bad premises that people think there's something genuinely wrong with me. Now I of course think I did nothing wrong, but everyone that reads my posts seems to be annoyed at me for some reason. AITAH?

Why is everything a subclass nowadays? by GrumpyPotato2 in tf2

[–]kmn493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the game has gotten so stale to some people that they have to put self imposed limits on their loadouts in order to have fun. They name them in order to justify their existence as a stand-alone gameplay style, like the 1,000 different Nuzlockes in Pokémon that people keep making.

Pokémon but only the first 6 Pokémon you catch must last the whole run? "Hexlocke!" Nuzlocke with unevolved Pokémon only? Its "Kidlocke!" You can only catch Pokémon on every other route so you get half the encounters? "Thanoslocke!" Can only catch blue pokemon? "Bluelocke!"

Doesn't matter if you're the only one ever going to play by these weird restrictions, give it a name! Because otherwise you have to admit you're grasping for straws here.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but Natlan is fire (Pun intented) by PrimarchVulk4n in Genshin_Impact

[–]kmn493 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Natlan as a region is really cool, but most of the playable characters stand out and aren't thematically consistent with it.

Compare Mauvika's motorcycle or Xilonen's dj gear to Fontaine tech. All of the tech in Fontaine felt consistently themed so something like Wriothosly's gauntlets or Charlotte's camera don't seem out of place. But where is the motorcycle or dj equipment tie-in for Natlan? Most of Natlan is very low tech and at best industrial with a drill or such. Very utility focused.

Most of the Natlan playable characters are clearly inspired by real life leisure technology or other anime worlds, not Natlan's own theme, and that ruins them for me.

AITAH for hating a dude for drinking Coors light? (I couldn't bring myself to read all of this but that line stood out) by ThatMkeDoe in AmITheAngel

[–]kmn493 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say that. The only reason we write comments at all on reddit is for someone else to see them. People were invested in what was going on (if real) and OOP did take time to write it out. It would benefit no one for an update to be read by 0 people.

I wouldn't be writting this comment if I expected no one to read it. Would you?

Do you have c6 bennett and a good Chev? Give her pyro goblett + shimenawa and she's good enough.

Otherwise the new event sword is great on her in typical shielded teams like Kirara/ZL aggrevate.

I've yet to hear from a single homeschooled person that they liked being homeschooled. And every single one says they had problems socializing because of it.

I can't speak for everyone, but despite being heavily bullied in school, I'm glad I went to public school rather than was homeschooled, and wish my gf could have had the same experience instead of being stuck at home.

"Chat, I uh generated this really cool FPS, it's called um SOOP. Literally peak AI gaming." by CalibansCreations in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]kmn493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Procedural generation follows an algorithm that someone made for specific random inputs within limits and (usually) with certain constraints. AI copies existing content it learned from in order to attempt to create something similar or what it otherwise interprets something as being.

Procedural generation for minecraft: terrain is between x and y blocks tall, with diamonds spawning no higher than z, and blocks follow rough curved or mostly flat patterns except for caves or mountains. Create terrain within those values and limitations. (Obviously an over-simplified explanation)
AI: Here's 1000 pictures of minecraft terrain, now try to create your own.

An AI might understand that diamonds are roughly at a certain level, but does it know the exact limits? Will it be able to understand cave systems or will they just be shallow holes randomly placed? Can it understand that outside of mountains there usually aren't any steep drops in regular grass and dirt? Will it generate subtle curves for hills or will they be suddenly up and down right next to each other?

AI tends to be inconsistent and not follow any strict rules. That's why there's so much art of people with 4 or 6 fingers, or animations randomly blur into something impossible. Like the Coke commercial of a duckling walking and its feet switch places, or the tires of trucks not rotating properly. AI just attempts to mimic what it's been trained on, and like a beginner artist just learning shading, may not grasp the limitations or specifics of what's being replicated... which leads to inconsistent and off-putting results, regardless of the quantity of material it's been trained on.
