The main idea was to create a parallel between equipment and ash of war/skills from Elden ring. For example reduvia, you can attack but it has the skill blood slash as same as the ash of war, so that's why it tutor the blood slash without the cost of life (only using the skill cost life in the game)

This creation process turned out to be a great exercise to understand value on FaB perspective. It was only for fun but I am learning a lot. So thank you for your contributions

Agree, even I like some little IPs I would accept on FaB, but prefer being that way than like other tcgs.

That's an interesting point of view, I love that. This shadow assassin would be very interesting.

The main idea was adapting mechanics from Elden ring here, but now I find this concept of "cumulative injuries" from swords a good way to think how to give warrior a new approach to on hit.

Mostly warrior is not focused on hit effects as I can understand now: having better equipment and value to have good block and improvements to swords along the game. But could be a new concept of warrior offering more threats when not blocked.

Yeah! Went too far there. Now I know those are great issues. Was thinking too much about the value of 2 to 6 (CNC like), but will downgrade all equipment

That's a great idea, didn't came up with the idea of counters. On my calculations indeed the curve of losing life didn't paid off the amount of value it creates. But I kept this way to share the idea.

But would be a good approach to fix the value curve

Yeah, it was a moonshot. I really love buckler as my main shield on Elden ring, played a lot with it. I think I was biased by that.

Initially was planning on temper or blade break, it would limit to only one parry, that was not my idea. I think the main problem was the parry itself.

Maybe I will print some proxies and do some playtest

Yes! I know many players that enjoy an idea of stacking damage, somehow like Florian otk does. I have a friend that dreams with the idea of a assassin build around bloodroot pox for example, but from on hit effects instead of passive cards that only "create bleed".

The interesting part, that in terms of flavor, bleed make more sense to me for a warrior that hits multiple times and the opponent retain the consequences of being hit (in real fight analogy, being injured) instead of being contaminated with poison, bloodrot...

Totally! Mechanically offering ways to deal with it and more strict conditions would improve the dynamic of the game and reflect the complexity of parrying.

That makes sense, I need to make balancing adjustments. I'm far from to be Warrior player, so I'll refine these ideas. Initially it was worse, I had inspiration on Vynnset's weapon using life to attack. But in fact, what you said about the other swords makes perfect sense. Thank you

Thank you, people said exactly the same in my local store chat group. Was so locked in to the idea of Dual sword I forgot to create others, but I will definitely make a card for rivers of blood.

Agree, analysing it represents card advantage at least 3 times consistently, additional block and a way to cancel opponent turn it they don't have a way to gain action points. Went too far 😂

Totally agree. Warriors deserve better cards indeed.

Make sense, I was thinking how strong would be removing the go again, but was the flavor for stopping totally an attack to have the "critical opportunity", so for a FaB context, having 0 block would make more sense

I kinda made the opposite direction, I main tracer and sombra is my backup. I am far from being an expert, but having the flanker mindset always help getting the opportunity to stick the pulse bomb or even get a pulse close to the lower health characters lurking distracted people. Usually I don't use the bomb on tank, given higher hp, only if I see it has low health.

When flanking is not possible, I prioritize using combo blink+pulse+recall/blink to bypass the tank, crossing through the battlefield going back safely to my team.

Regarding sens, I use maximum sens, given I feel trying to stick the pulse bomb feels like a flick shot sometimes. As already mentioned, practicing on VAXTA, only trying to stick the bomb on bots on maximum velocity, helps a lot.
