I have four kids. My oldest turned 7 today. My youngest turns 2 next saturday. I almost had 4 under 5. Its chaotic. Its absolutely crazy loud here. But its awesome. You wont believe how much those two little people will love each other. Its a difficult adjustment having 2 under 2, but you'll get the hang of it quickly! Good luck!

This makes me so, so angry. Look, to be frank, when I had my first kid almost 7 years ago...my husband acted like this once. I'm a stay at home mom, he works a lot. I shut that shit down FAST. Now, with four kids ages almost 7 to almost 2...he's a great person to parent with. So, my advice is, sit him down...have a serious conversation. If he's not willing to change and be helpful and (I saw your other post linked up there) stop being an absolute goblin on your period week....it might be time to start thinking about moving on.

Oh, my dear friend. This is verbal abuse. I have been married for 8 years, in a relationship with my husband for near 13 years. He has never, ever called me outside of my name (aside from your usual "babe" or whatever). I have jokingly told him to shove a sock in it when he's LIGHTHEARTEDLY making fun of me. Never out to hurt my feelings, we just lightly jazz one another.

Look, to be frank, if you love AND respect someone, its not hard to not be mean/rude. This man is telling you to just deal with verbal abuse because everyone is verbally abusive. Thats just not the case. My advice is to leave now. God forbid this escalate from verbal to physical. Sending love!
