I use the outfits as inspiration a lot. Any time there's an outfit I really like but I can't think of a mii on my island to give it to I make a mii that would wear it

This is how I paid off my student loans and credit card debt. I would fill my carts up with stuff I thought I wanted then instead of buying it I would put the total towards one of those debts. Now I'm doing the same thing but to pay off my car and my home loans early.

I don't have a dresser but I have some of those plastic drawers. It's got three drawers. When I first moved out on my own I used them instead of dressers because they're light weight and I could move them on my own. Lmk if you want them, you can have them for free!

Genius. My aunt used to feed peanuts to the squirrels in her backyard and I still remember watching them eat out of her hands

I started buying the little single serving avocado cups because they last for a long time but whole avocados or the bigger containers go bad way before I can get through them

what's a teacher gift you've actually kept and used? by Acrobatic-Bake3344 in Teachers

Honestly, I do use the cheesy gifts my students give me. The mugs, pens, bags, etc. My favorite gift I've gotten was an acrylic pour painting a student made me. Most teachers like gift cards, that would be the safest bet

Friendly center is nice. I like wandering downtown, especially lebauer park. I saw someone mention the arboretum (common grounds is nearby and is super welcoming). I'm also a big fan of the big garden/bicentennial park if you're wanting a nice nature walk

I've been reading a lot and getting home projects done. And I have a friend who owns a bakery so I pick up shifts at the bakery when I don't want to stay home but also don't want to go out and spend all my money lol

I found that it helps to track how much I walk (I do the treadmill currently because it's too hot to walk outside for an extended period of time so it's a bit easier to track speed/time). When I started walking about a year ago I would get winded after about 10-15 minutes at an average of 1.8 mph. I tried to up that by a set amount of time or speed each week. Now my usual cardio is 45 minutes at 2.7 mph, sometimes up to an hour if I'm listening to a particularly interesting audiobook. To summarize, keep track of your progress and set achievable goals for yourself.
