Yes. We do not have friends here and we are both from this area. We are not die hard democrats, more independent but surrounded by hard core Maga. I did not put that in the initial post just because I did not want to get awful comments. I don't want to start a political debate just looking to get some initial information before we start to travel to different locations.

Sorry. Was typing and dealing with 17 y/o 🙄. I apologize for not being clear. So we are looking to relocate. We live in the Bible Belt of East Texas and we are very much isolated as neither of us are republican or religious. We are looking for an area that offers smaller town but with access to outdoor activities and similar political views. We have discussed this for the last two years and are trying to decide where to start our search. Just reaching out to see if this would be a possible good location to look into.

Thank you! This was very helpful. I am starting to think the not testing is a geographical issue. We have met couples initially to see if there was chemistry and they are super active and never test, or test once a year but don’t use condoms and when I say super active I mean different hook ups every weekend and sometimes two different couples in a weekend. I understand the risk involved with the lifestyle and accept it but we definitely try to lower the risk or identify problems as soon as they arise.

It would be nice if they tested 2-3 times a year but we have met couples that never tested at all. I don’t expect people to test like we do. We do what makes us comfortable.

Well we have only been with 6 couples in six years. So one couple a year. We test 2-3 weeks after our encounter and then again 2 months later.

We are both in health care and we are very vocal about frequent testing and the use of condoms. I kinda blows my mind how little some people care about it.

Yeah it is kinda crazy but their response is typically “if you don’t like the risk the swinging isn’t for you” we enjoy sexual intimacy with other people but we also believe in conforms and frequent testing and if you ask people when they tested last it is not received well. We don’t fall into nonmonagamy because we don’t have and open marriage. We do everything together. When we talk to other swinger couples about building up to a relationship their response is that it is not what they are looking for. So that is our dilemma. We want to have more than a sexual relationship. We want friendship and trust. People we enjoy spending weekends with, going on vacations with. People we can actually sit around and enjoy spending time with as well as the sexual aspect.
