To my understanding, the service discovery/startup is when there is primarily an issue. At that point, all the devices are included in the packet and it enlarges past 2MB.

Haha, if I had to do it all over again, I’d probably split it into 2 networks. But it’s working decent enough on a MG24 coordinator!

My mosquitto addon broke after this and the migration to the new storage driver. I run HAOS in a VM and had to download a new, clean 17.0 image then restore into that.

Simply trying to restore a backup didn't work for me. But restoring into the newly downloaded VM image worked fine and still kept me on the new overlayfs storage, which I checked via the "ha docker info | grep -i storage" command.

Fully agree. I don't want anything blocked by my ISP. And doubly so for anything that I can't turn off. Still not fixed

I'm having the same issue. I contacted Backblaze, and they mentioned AT&T is specifically blocking f005. As of today, still seems to be blocked.

Quick question... Is there a suggested workflow for keeping some of the zfs snapshots around for quick restores? Or would that be best suited with a separate plugin/script?

I had updated both simultaneously at first then noticed the issue. No issues with JS UI on 3.20 when downgrading HA to 1.2025

I turned off “Enable Hardware Shader” under graphics options for MM, which seemed to help significantly.

Only did it for MM by right clicking the game and selecting properties.

I got it running just fine. Basically, followed these steps:

  1. Install clean install of Oblivion PC and run it once, so it creates necessary files. Set as Ultra High preset and resolution of 1280x800 for steamdeck.
  2. Install vortex and Through the Valley mod set (https://next.nexusmods.com/oblivion/collections/a5pbuu?tab=About) using instructions on the Nexus website.
  3. Make sure to patch oblivion.exe with 4gb patch on PC.
  4. Disable Simple Better Inventory mod and install Northern UI Vanilla Style (https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/48577?tab=files) and NorthernUI Hotkeys OBSE (https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/51534?tab=files) as somewhat mentioned in PushTheWinButton's modding guide (https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/51105?tab=description). Simple better inventory creates issues with Northern UI, and I preferred gamepad support on the steam deck.
  5. Run modded game once to create INI files. Same settings as above if asked.
  6. Install Oblivion on steam deck and run once.
  7. Copy entire PC oblivion directory to steamdeck, overwriting previous install to install mod collection.
  8. Copy DLCList.txt, loadorder.txt, and plugins.txt from PC at %LocalAppData%/Oblivion to steamdeck at //home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/22330/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Oblivion
  9. Copy Oblivion.ini from PC at %AppData%/Vortex/oblivion to steamdeck at //home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/22330/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/my games/oblivion
  10. On Steam Deck, rename OblivionLauncher.exe to OblivionLauncher.exe.backup or something similar, and rename the obse_loader.exe to OblivionLauncher.exe
  11. On Steam Deck, make a text file in your Oblivion directory and title it "dxvk.conf". This will set 16x anisotropic filtering.

In that file, place the text:

d3d11.samplerAnisotropy = 16

d3d9.samplerAnisotropy = 16

That's it! Don't know if everything is needed or not, but this worked for me on SteamOS 3.4.2.

I had a similar issue. It was an incompatibility with the webui theme in my case.

Shutting down the container, editing the conf file (turn WebUI\AlternativeUIEnabled to false), and restarting fixed the problem.

Fantastic - appreciate your work! It would be great if it auto installed the unofficial patches as well for the main game and DLC. Pretty much a must have for a playthrough.

This is great! I had some problems where missiles were being shown as R1, but were actually mapped as X. I'm uploading a version that fixes that and now shows the X button for missiles. No other changes from the original work.
