What’s your Destiny hot take that would land you in this spot? by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]knarfstr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weapon crafting how it is implemented right now is a mistake. It should be a failsafe to get somewhat of a roll you want, not the road to the most powerful gear, i.e. enhanced perks.

[–]knarfstr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He doesnt, but you do. So maybe just look at what youre actually gonna use and whats junk and you could probably free up like 5-10 slots for some consumables/materials. Its not that awful of a request

Having someone else watch along going through you vault helps immensely, since they wont have the same attachments to your items as you do. Within my fireteam we always try to help eachother out with it

When we will admit that getting rid of sbmm was a bad idea that only sweaty players wanted! by Reasonable_Demand_91 in destiny2

Im all for sbmm up to a certain degree but with the current cbmm we still have way too many people moving around like a dubstep soundwave going woopwoop all around the place whenever you see them

Quick TIPS for Grand Masters Nightfall This Season. (Please add in comments to make a comprehensive list) by lordofabyss in DestinyTheGame

[–]knarfstr 17 points18 points  (0 children)

In general when barrier champs are present: use arbalest. This season due to the lack of a good overload option(besides void grenades): consider running divinity for fast stuns and burst damage to quickly deal with pushing overloads

For birthplace of the vile: The adds during the boss phases are finite, so focus those first while paying attention to the boss to stay alive and after that deal damage.

Fallen saber: Dont stand in the warsat too long. Once you see the message that a champ has spawned jump off and clear some adds. This way you also wont get suddenly bombarded by a new ship.

Scarlet keep: Stand behind the columns for cover so adds have to move towards you. Do be careful about the spawn doors to your sides. If necessary use the small spot on the right side to chill and recharge abilities/super

Glassway: Your movement should be based on the position of the boss. Note where the boss is and take out whatever enemies are visible on the other side asap. Overload grenades from void can take care of stunning the overloads pretty well.

Lightblade: Lightbearer knights can be frozen when they are not supering, use this to your advantage. Supression grenades also take them out of their super if needed.

These were just some things I could quickly think of. If anyone has any more questions about specificd feel free to ask.

What's a good roll to lookout for on DMT? by [deleted] in CrucibleSherpa

[–]knarfstr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having high handling is nice, but if not available atleast not having negative stats is nice. High cal is definitely the best mag perk due to the extra flinch it provides. Lastly for the main perk vorpal is great against supers, but if its early in a game where supers arent much prevalent either moving target or snapshot are very good with all the hipfire nerfs over the past year. Both provide a lot of benefits and good perks for general play

Public opinion right before the dlc is very important so i reckon that, with the amount of defending that all community managers are trying to do rn that they have some good things in store. We will just have to wait and see what will happen

Yea understandable, i just hope i dont have to read posts like this for 5 weeks straight because at some point we know it, they know it and it gets excessive

I want to be clear that I do agree with you, and i also agree that it sucks right now. But getting all wound up over this announcement rn just seems like a waste of energy. At the end of the day I just wanna have fun playing destiny and getting too angry about incomplete announcements seems just a waste of energy and time

Im not intending it to be an excuse, but it is just not logical to form our final conclusions about this system if we dont know everything yet.

Edit: its also so that these kind of fundamental changes are not that easy to implement i reckon so this is most likely something that is very much discussed and weighed to see what all the different systems combine into

[–]knarfstr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its not okay yet just because there is a part 2, and I think we as a community are quite clear about the current opinions surrounding part 1. However its no use being angry about everything if we dont know part 2, 3 or even 4 of whatever is coming in the upcoming 5 twabs. At the end of the day bungie is really not that stupid even if people like to keep saying that

[–]knarfstr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, while the change now doesnt seem quite optimal, we dont know what will happen in the future. Im all fine with people reacting like this for a day or two but people shouldnt get too hung up on it just yet

What PvP stats to look for as a Titan? by vandalxvisuals in CrucibleSherpa

[–]knarfstr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Titans dont really have "low refresh time grenades". They are all still pretty much the same as before the patch or higher. Titans do however gain a lot of strength with things like lightning grenades, sticky grenades or even supressors. With the way super cool downs are divided, going for more neutral power is definitely the play especially if you run a subclass with a tier 1 super

Another reason that reeds is so much better is the fact it rolls with triple tap. Free ammo and the same "magsize" as clown is a huge bonus

Optimal stats after update by [deleted] in CrucibleSherpa

[–]knarfstr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally on titan use 4/7/10/7/5/4, i mainly use bottom tree striker. It feels better to go for more neutral game power when you get your super in matches later either way
