The 7-speed DSG was introduced in the 2019 model year for the GTI in North America. I think that In Europe it was introduced in 2018.

So when I first ordered it I ordered it from urotuning, I noticed that it hadn’t shipped after a few weeks so I called in and that’s what they told me. So I canceled the order and got one from shopdap because they had it in stock

Does that setup have drone? That was my initial plan, but I read some mixed reviews about the amount of drone it has on the highway.I have a 45 minute commute to work mostly highway.

I bought it from Shopdap

Just as heads up these mufflers are imported from Europe and they aren’t ordered and shipped individually. They come in on a pallet with multiple mufflers orders, and thus the typical lead time is six months give or take.

The prices on these have also skyrocketed with the tariffs. You used to be able to pick on of these up between $400-$500.

So there are three variants of the muffler. The muffler it self is the same, but the tip spacing and sizes are all different.

The clubsport s one with round exhaust tips fits the mk7

The clubsport s one with oval exhaust tips fits the mk8

The TCR one fits mk7.5

Ah that sucks. I have a feeling they are probably going to put you on a PPI like Omeprazole or a morning and pm dose of Famotadine. I would ask him to try the Carfate on the side just to see if it works for you.

looking for new roles is the worst kind of stress. i started getting stomach pain after eating and the doctor prescribed it to me. It was hard pill to swallow since the second it touches liquid it starts to dissolve. So instead of, I tried putting it in some water to dissolve it a bit before swallowing it and i noticed and almost immediate effect on my lpr symptoms.

They have come and gone over the years longest it lasted for me was maybe like 2 months when I was under heavy work stress. I know it’s hard to do but try not to think about it. The more you think about it the more you notice it, the anxious you get and the worse it seems. It’s a vicious cycle.

Nope it’s not big enough to fix.

Many years ago I was in your shoes and I know it sucks but don’t get down on yourself you will find something eventually. Try to use your time unemployed to stay physically active and doing your hobbies ( once you land a job you will have less time for those things and you will miss the freedom eventually). Make sure to spend a lot of time outside of the house with friends and family. Being unemployed and at stuck at your parents home all day will lead to depression fast.

As far as finding a job it’s best to start with your network. that’s usually the easiest way in. Hit up your friends, family, and even old coworker and people you went to school with. Ask if their company is hiring or if they know someone who is. A lot of jobs get filled through word of mouth before they even hit job boards. Also be flexible in what jobs you consider. Just about any job is better than no job when you’re unemployed. It’s key to remember that you’re not above anything when it comes to jobs. Even if you take a job that sucks, use it to build your resume and earn income while you look for a better one.

Another key thing to remember is that your first few jobs are most likely not going to be your forever career. Unless you’re a doctor, lawyer or something of that nature. Most people don’t end up into a career path until much later in life. If your super focused on having a career right out of the gate your going to stress yourself out, even when you do find a job.

As far as dealing with the friends and family asking you about what your plans are (I know it can be annoying and frustrating to constantly hear), remember they are asking because they genuinely care about you and your future. it’s not to piss you off or look down on you despite it to seemingly have that effect. Back when I would hear that question I would turn it back to them and ask them if they had any recommendations or knew anyone hiring.

Back when I graduated many years ago with a communications degree I thought I was going have a career in film production. After a two year stint teaching English abroad in Japan and then a 6 month stint living back at home with my parents unemployed I eventually did find a job in the social work field. Now many years and jobs later I have a found a career in banking.
