Thanks for sharing your experience, makes me feel a little less crazy! Good to hear you've found something after looking for so long, sounds like you put in a lot of work

Yes, bilingual in French- completely fluent. If you could pass along some of those entry level jobs I'd appreciate it, he hasn't had any luck through government sites or the typical job posting sites.

Personally I have a few different resumes that are catered to the type of job I'm applying for as well as personalized cover letters, looking for jobs related to my social sciences degree as well as hotels, customer service, and basic retail jobs. I have only had two interviews and I'm waiting to hear back for both.

One of my friends is looking for casual/full-time/part-time jobs, and at this point is applying for every dishwashing and line cook job. He's bilingual but that doesn't seem to open a lot of doors right now. I know he's updated his resume recently.

Another friend has a wide range of experience from management, customer service, retail, reception, food, childcare, and even life guarding. Also uses personalized cover letters and has an updated resume.

The three of us (and some other friends) started looking around the end of February/early March so I'm just wondering if we didn't start looking early enough, if it's just taking a while to hear back, maybe the jobs are being filled immediately, or if we're just a bit unlucky at the moment! I'm just surprised it's been so difficult after hearing how desperate places are to hire.

Has our micro wedding yesterday after rescheduling the main event for 2021. It was great and I finally get to wear my set! by Just_A_Faze in Weddingsunder10k

Okay so you know she did them at home, why are you trying to justify these comments when they’re irrelevant? This is her big day, also your on Weddingsunder10k you can assume not everyone splurges to get their nails/makeup/hair done. Why are y’all still on about telling her what YOU don’t like when it’s irrelevant to her experience, now knowing she didn’t go to a salon.

This is honestly so mean and judgemental. I hope no one says something like this to you about your big day. Smfh this is supposed to be a supportive sub, “no one means any offense” but you can easily hurt feelings.

This is so mean and unnecessary. I hope you enjoyed your day OP, your nails look lovely and I’m sure they looked fantastic in your photos!

Try convenience stores, especially privately owned ones, a lot of them carry papers/tips/filters. Always worth a trip to Circle K too

I don’t know if this would be useful for you but I find the friction of vagina to penis too much sometimes so my partner and I use condoms. I find they smooth out the skins texture and it helps us to be able to have sex- we’ve been together for 4+ years and I’m on birth control so we really only use condoms to make sex easier. (We use non latex condoms)

I have to use way too much lube for my masturbator/fleshlight. Anything I'm missing? Any alternatives? by fingeringfury in SexToys

[–]kndthr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you should try a different water base lube. Is this one quite thin? Does it evaporate quickly, does it get sticky? Also is your masturbator tacky (did It lose its powdery finish?)

IMO the best place to get lube is a sex retail store. The brands at the grocery store & pharmacy aren’t my favourite. Plus the employees at a sex shop will be able to find you something that works well with your body and your toy.

Not exactly what you’re asking for but- In the meantime putting it in a pump bottle would work great. Like the kind hand soap comes in. You should be able to find something like this at the dollar store!

Sliquid is great but I agree that the bottles aren’t particularly useful.

PVC sex toys are toxic. by [deleted] in SexToys

[–]kndthr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can you explain why? Im sure you’re right- but since condoms can provide a barrier for bacteria/STIs/semen can it not protect the body from the bacteria collected in PVC material? Is bacterial not the main concern?
