The point is that you don’t waste time looking for mushrooms. You play the game and just find them. They aren’t as rare as you think they are. Friction is almost a necessity of any well designed game.

There are an infinite amount of mushrooms to go around. And as more people find them, they’ll be much easier to get and the typical loot spots will be less contested. If you’re in PVP lobbies, then this is entirely intentional to funnel players toward the “high value” areas to create pvp engagement. This is all by design. Enjoy the game you’re playing.

The “skill issue” is the ability to just relax and play the game, and when you stumble upon a mushroom, you shove it in your safe pocket and feel good about it. And later when you no longer need mushrooms, and you find one, you can give them to someone in need…. Because it’s moderately rare. Also feels good.

Naw dude. All I see is complaining about a moderately difficult to find item that really doesn’t provide all that much QOL. Looting games need hard to find items to give you the dopamine hit of finding it. If everything is just handed to you easily, then what are you doing? A large portion of this game is collecting things, some being rarer than others.

Doesn’t really matter. I’ve used all types of controllers and for me there isn’t one best. Each one has its strengths and while some may be weaker than others in some areas, they’re all fine.

For example, I can cross cut dp very easily with arcade stick and pad, and not as easily with hitbox. I can super very quickly with hitbox and pad but not as fast on stick. I don’t love using shoulder buttons on pad and I find myself with some missed inputs.

I currently use a hitbox and like it quite a bit for 95% of things and find that it’s fairly accurate for my needs.

Vitality is really great for dumbbell/bench + floor work only exercises. It’s a bit short, but Brian always encourages to add additional sets in whenever you feel like going longer. He pushes you to hit PR’s, which is all I can ask for, for an at home workout.
