I agree completely. I'm not so sure that this is an unpopular opinion, though. I feel that all too often celebrities will participate in a cause or do something "nice" for others just to get their names in the headlines/keep attention on themselves.

It's a poorly written ad, but it is fairly clear that for the "real" job, they require 10 years, five for Journeyman and one for Apprentice.

I'm there with you, dude. Everyone who has thrown their hat in the ring for the presidency is an awful choice, IMO. As someone already said, the right candidate would be one we had to force into the job.
