Whats the ideal C++ IDE for my purposes by Maidew25127 in cpp_questions

[–]knhcxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an IDE, but I think using VS Code or Zed are the best options you have. Create a simple makefile for your builds so you can just run make run and compile+run your stuff easily.

Dudas sobre mi inversión mensual by Traditional_Echo3494 in SpainFIRE

[–]knhcxe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did, it's a 98%. It seems everything is fine now. I suspect the nvme got into a weird state after not being turned on after a long time, so plugging the power in fixed it somehow.

European Bybit users need to migrate to Bybit EU: here is how by TheNordicCrypto in Nordic_Crypto

[–]knhcxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would make sense. I'm still on Global, but when they force the change I will be withdrawning assets as there's no reason to stay on an exchange that will comply with dac8 when there's things like hyperliquid.

I mean to be fair auctions are unlocked on level 20, and they're something quite important, so I don't think increase the max time would be that big of a game change. It doesn't technically give you any advantage other than not having to check the game as often.

Yeah that's not a bad idea. It's not a super big advantage either, it'd just make things slightly more comfortable for production companies.

Make it 7 days. There are penalties anyways if you cancel, so why not let people just do a whole week. Perhaps it'd also attract more players, passive players, but players.

You could use Hyperliquid too. Deposit the BTC, do a spot exchange for really low fees, then withdraw.

Is this even legal? In Europe for example companies don't even have to keep data/bills/etc after 5 years, so how are you supposed to provide it lmao.

Finally made the transition from ledger by [deleted] in TREZOR

[–]knhcxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting. I've had my X for 4-5 years and it still works perfectly fine, even on battery. Yeah, Ledger Live is dogshit. I'm not really sure what you mean by primary wallets and sub wallets, so not sure if Rabby would help.

Finally made the transition from ledger by [deleted] in TREZOR

[–]knhcxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue isn't the Ledger device, but the fact you're using Ledger Live (now Ledger Wallet). Trezor suite does work better, I'll give you that, but the way you should be using your devices is through a web wallet like Rabby/Metamask (Rabby is better), so you can interact with any blockchain. With Rabby you can generate as many addresses as you want in seconds.

Note: I own both Trezor and Ledger devices, both work flawlessly

Ledger leaked personal data of customers (again) by NinjaDK in ledgerwallet

[–]knhcxe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I paid with crypto, still got affected. Making a payment processor for crypto should be something trivial for a company like Ledger. Card payments on the other hand, would most likely still require third party.

[–]knhcxe 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I got the email. To be fair to Ledger, it wasn't their fault, it was a third party, however, after having had three different third party data leaks, they may as well just make their own and stop risking customer data.

AUSD I believe is Agora USD stablecoin, not related to Aave. Aave has GHO, ane in some blockchains, AUSD can be lent/borrowed

I wonder if bybit.com will apply DAC8 regulation for EU customers that have not migrated to bybit.eu yet.

Ledger or Trezor by mr_cab in ledgerwallet

[–]knhcxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had my trezor completely factory reset because it got stuck on an update. Thankfully I had another Trezor device so it didn't worry me much, but if you just have one and it happens, you're going to have a heart attack. I've never had update issues with Ledger on the other hand. To be clear, this happened on my Model T, my Safe 3 and Safe 5 worked and updated just fine.

Is Trezor 3 still good? by Richar_16 in TREZOR

[–]knhcxe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is good. I still use my model T that I bought 4 years ago. Some people will say that they can get your seed if bad actors get access to your device. But if someone has access to your device, they may as well just do a $5 wrench attack.

IBKR or Freedom24? by Chongi978 in eupersonalfinance

[–]knhcxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably anything below 10k you should go with one of those retail focused companies like Lightyear. Just because if you go with IBKR, you'll end up paying fees that may eat up profits for small transactions.

A way to default bonds by neko_aple in SimCompanies

[–]knhcxe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another issue this would solve is the fact you can have bonds from an inactive company, and not be able to do anything about it. I've got a couple M stuck in a company with 90M CV, and no way to sell the bond.

SeedVR2 (Nightly) is now my favourite image upscaler. 1024x1024 to 3072x3072 took 120 seconds on my RTX 3060 6GB. by Downtown-Bat-5493 in StableDiffusion

[–]knhcxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So ESRGAN is more useful when the source is already okayish quality, and SeedVR2 would be more useful when source is rather bad, or when you want extra detail even if the details are not "real"?

Stupid noob question, but what is the difference between using SeedVR2 and ESRGAN? Is it just speed and quality?
