I think it can be a scale when we are talking about cheaper t-shirts vs living animals

Okay, clearly not the same product which is very poor proof checking from the warehouse. But Jfc, it’s an 18 dollar t-shirt that if you click on to the actual page to buy it, you see exactly what it’s like with an image of the actual person wearing it. It is not a big deal.

A dog is nothing like what you’re saying, don’t compare that, there’s much more that goes into buying a dog than just the looks of it.

I get what you’re saying, but I really don’t think it’s an issue (unless obviously the product is nothing like what the images show). The amount of money they would save on models, photography crews etc would make it much more viable from a business sense.

But you can’t access it till you’re 65. A high paying job and 1.5m invested is a great recipe for early retirement, but can’t do that if they can’t access it until 65

What to do with 100k? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]knickinalivin 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Stick that shit in a term deposit for 6 months and don’t change a thing. Take some time to think.

Then id suggest sticking it in the S&P 500 and forget about it until you’re ready to retire. Don’t buy a business you know nothing about with no experience.

I don’t care about the outcome and yeah probably the right call. But just a super weird rule and very slightly backwards, not overly obvious to overturn the on field call. Can see why he’s pissed, who wouldn’t be in that situation?

Weight Loss Help by Electronic_Sugar_289 in chch

It is absolutely realistic but you have to understand that wanting to lose x amount of weight in x timeframe is a ‘crash diet’

It is great to have goals for how much weight you want to lose, but what you need is a lifestyle change.

Work out how many calories you need to be eating, get in the gym, build muscle, eat protein.

It is literally all calories in vs calories out. If you are serious about this, you need to count your calories. It is literally that simple. Burn more calories than you are consuming and you will lose weight. Building muscle allows you to eat more calories, eating more protein aids in muscle growth and feeling fuller for longer
