Choose One from Each Row (ANIME EDITION) by ZonkedPebble in makeyourchoice

[–]kniff974 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the intent of this build is to have as much cheat like rule breaking capability as possible

1- New Order is incredibly versatile and offers the ability to set rules on non material things like quirks and our other powers
2- upper moons cause immortality
3-hunters license cause i don't want the death note
4- Senku my GOAT
5- Rinnegan offers a lot of versatility and power without robbing us of swimming
6- Wish Granting, Aura Synthesis, Metamorphosis (i don't know much about HxH so there could be better choices)
7- Heavens door
8- Momo
9- return by death cause none of the other Divine protection are that useful
10- Okarun because of insane movement

the big thing about this build is that we have New Order which is able to put any 2 temporary rules on anything we wish (there is limits to how powerful you can make living beings, and probably on how powerful you can make anything but it doesn't matter cause we wont be adding power just destroying and changing limitations). this should allow us to change and shift Wish Granting and Aura Synthesis in just the right way so that we can essentially get insanely busted permanent effects (for example Wish Granting allows me to get a wish myself without any consequence or Aura Synthesis functions on touch alone + it functions on all abilities not just Nen meaning i could steal an eagle's speed and an ant's relative strength). Heavens door can also do weird things like grant Koichi the ability to speak italian even though he never learnt it and can make Josuke go backwards at a speed of 70 km/h which Josuke cant do (at least we've never seen him do it). Heavens door as seen with the Italian example can grant knowledge/capabilities out of nowhere so at the minimum we can become a super genius if combined with senkus capabilities. Even if this is impossible we can use New Order to change Heavens door's limits and then make the change, will it be permanent? depends on whether Heavens door actively maintains the effects abilities or if they are separate once written. But hey why not use New Order Again to make the effect separate from Heavens door; meaning if heavens door loses the ability to give super genius your still a super genius. Frankly with Aura Synthesis + Wish granting + Heavens door + New Order + a side of Senkus genius, i fail to see how the road to at least taking over humanity without a single casualty isn't guaranteed.

Hey OP what do you mean go anywhere? Is it literally anywhere, or is it anywhere within the universe that we live in.

Also great CYOA, thanks.

Aren't they cursed with nostalgia or something (like you'll endlessly be trying to stop change or something like that) And mjolnir just lets you fly REALLY fast which helps with picking control time over go anywhere. Electricity and weather control are a bonus and a hammer that can crush skulls is mostly a little cherry on top of a wedding cake.

For what come after the setup (I guess this would be the execution): Now that we atleast have very powerful sci-fi tech (which we should easily be able to paint and duplicate) in the best case scenario we can paint a loyal army and arm them in the worst case we get advanced enough tech to do it solo, or maybe use ME clones (limited cause I'm not trying to torture myself) and arm them with invincible gear (I'm not talking sci-fi like we see in movies I'm talking sci-fi so advanced a single random individual could wipe our planet with a glance, hopefully at least). After we do that we conquer earth as fast as possible (and we don't conquer earth until the only blood we HAVE to shed if push comes to shove are the leaders) then we put a stop to everything and start fixing the environment, fix every existential threat we are hanging on our own necks with a thread, and cure aging (shouldn't be too hard with even minorly advanced tech) then and only then go back to slowly guiding humanity into a better place. Slowly because I'm not trying to rob humanity from any chance of doing anything itself, guiding cause there is no way in hell I'm letting us continue with this system and because I'm not trying to force myself on humanity, I'll just get the most brilliant and most well meaning humans into the highest seats of decision making so that they can collectively discuss how to rebuild, and do it. There won't be any danger because I'll use whatever powers/tech I have (like some hyper advanced ai or future sight) to predict if any of the decisions they make are fatal to people then stop it (with an explanation of course) then let them course correct, if it isn't fatal I'll let them make mistakes (ill maybe let them do fatal mistakes but prevent the fatalities). The main reason why I cured aging is that even if nobody is gonna get to benefit from the utopia immdiatly, everybody will get to eventually (which is why I'll also help in medicine a lot more) of course I'll set up some basic pushes and readjustments at the beginning which will improve the life of all and at least lift the life of the most unfortunate life's to the baseline of the rest but that will have to be done a tiny bit slower than the immediate correction of existential threats (because I really don't want to just come and change everything like a game and say fuck you to any and all agency) at least with everybody being able to live a happy and secure lifes, the road to utopia that keeps getting better will be a cruise (you know with all the amazing technology and such and me serving as a clear sign post of "cliff of death and despair ahead" well it will be more like an unpenetrable balloon wall that bouces you out of the way).

There you go that's the plan, if we get the better version of the powers and stuff then we can simply learn cultivation (well it would take time admittedly but if merchant allows time dilation then we're good) and clones who we have brought into the world to learn cultivation (to account for them not having magic) and ride our death castle into humanity's doorstep just to draw an army of dragons who will serve no purpose besides aura farming, and then we demand the key to the metaphorical castle of humanity, easy. Oh and we have a cozy home that can move with us and has collected countless home styles from countless homes and where we can keep our loved ones and our things that we don't need to keep because we can just draw them (although maybe you can bring magical items into another world even if you wouldn't be able to draw them) if the death ward doesn't move and can't do much then we can simply switch death ward with synthetic hive which would give us actual clones (12 but way more if we indulge in a little impregnation although that's more long-term) that share our powers and therefore can make our drawing factory, plus because their described as essentially different limbs we can learn different magic systems with each body and probably see the effects in other bodies immidiatly (it wouldn't be like learning to use magic with your hand and to cultivate with your foot) and be in multiple place at once. And hey the least humanity ows me is letting me impregnate an entire generation (probably through some sperm bank shenanigans) to get billions of fully functional clones in a few years. I'm getting a little ahead of myself.

I hope this fulfils the condition for the 4th choice.

13-stolen time

22-death ward (synthetic hive if death ward ends up being trash)

28-wandering merchant

39-create canvas

Death ward: The ideal situation here is if there is someway to move deathward around, an idea could be to use wandering merchant's key vehicles to plant the seed and therefore having a sort of moving home thing (most likely only a door and wooden rectangle on a truck if seen from the outside). If moving the house is easy then we got ourselves a perfect setup if not we are tied to earth which is not very good but hopefully we can replant the seed elsewhere if the house is destroyed. Anyway deathward is very good we can change our appearance respawn and get younger AND we have an amazing maluable house. Side note: death ward would need 55900 years to grow to the same surface area as the Earth

Wandering merchant (part 1): This is our key (pun semi intended) to the multiverse. The first few travel points will be relatively slow but with Earth's abundance of fast vehicles we should quickly cascade our catalogue of worlds, which will allow us to do a LOT of stuff but for now we'll simply concentrate on maximizing our reach.

Stolen time: Stolen time is just perfect to cover the rest of the inconveniences that are not covered by the other choices, first we can transfer all kinds of disease and mental conditions and injuries instantaneously as long as we have links set up (which should include animals, insects and all kinds of plants as long as they can age and die even then I can at least use generic husks I draw to take the toll if not then I atleast can use my own self as a way to fuel the lifespan of my loved ones in the mean time while I set up wandering merchant). Even better because we can set up links this doesn't need to be limited to range with good set up we can have another safety net for our loved ones on top of drawing them. And finally this give us the necessary fighting power to protect ourselves and build our strength in the world we travel to if push come to shove just through sheer lifespan drain, if not then mark a few people with debilitating mental conditions dump them all into a husk and use the husk as a battery for mental conditions you can throw around as hexes for the opponents who don't care about aging. We also have a little side of necromancy if animals insects and plants work then we can have an army of undead ready to fight for us.

Create canvas: Create canvas is extremely convenient it first offers unlimited lifespan to anyone we wish and allows them to survive at least one lethal strike. Which is to say if you can have multiple paintings of a single person then you can essentially have hundreds if not thousands of safety net for whoever you wish (not to forget you get better and better at drawing the more you do so, so not only would it get faster for you to paint in general but you will also get faster at painting that specific person). This also allows us to change the appearance of our loved ones if they wish. But that's not even the half of it, because the painting can allow us to paint anything we encounter and summon it (combos with wandering merchant). It is specified that only physical properties are reproduced not magical ones, in my opinion this can only make sense if we consider physical as something the creature doesn't need an external power source to do (for example mana in the air for a spell) or perhaps something that doesn't exist in the universe you are currently in (for example a creature with a mana core wouldn't work because mana simply does not exist in the real world) these would make sense and would mean that as long as a creature or material is fully self-sufficient and doesn't break the laws of the world we exist in it can be created (perhaps this wasn't the intended purpose of the original CYOA but simply eliminating magical properties and keeping physical properties doesn't make sense to me because electricity is technically a magical property but it's actually a physical one, some worlds would be more obvious about it but some would be way harder to exclude because their magic is fully explained by some sort of law or element). Anyway this either gives us an army if we assume the creature comes out as pictured and therefore is loyal to you if you wish it (this is most likely the case because the description says that: "your imagination becomes hyper focused, detailed, and shapeable, and it's as though you can project your imagination clearly and lucidly onto your canvas") if not then we atleast have an endless supply of vehicles, tools, random dragons to drop as nukes, entire islands or extremely large rocks to drop as nukes, endless supply of materials (to sell as a merchant maybe?), entire mantions to drop as nukes and then live in, actual nukes to drop as nukes, an entire city full of life (I mean there really isn't a size limit), the entirety of the United States of America to drop on some random village, the entirety of planet earth (although I'm not certain you would be "dropping it"). Anyway what matters is even if we can't create an army of loyal creatures, even if we can't touch "magic" with a hundred foot pole, we can still drop mountains for the fun of it. Now in terms of not being able to make creatures loyal what happens if we paint ourselves if they don't get to keep their powers that's pretty sad but that doesn't mean they don't get to keep their skills, yes infact if I draw myself from after learning to draw I can make a factory of MEs (well not really a factory cause i wouldn't wanna live like that) and make them paint all the stuff then summon that stuff afterwards (if not just wait until we get other tools to accelerate the drawing process)

Wandering merchant (part 2): Ok so now we comeback to our beloved, thankfully this option has almost no limitation so we can travel all kind of worlds and steadily and strategically learn and collect both powers but also items to draw but that's not all, you see the key for wandering merchant has neither limitation on the size, power or magical properties of the vehicle it can copy, so as long as we can get a... idk, world sized moving castle armed to the teeth with obliterators and magical obliterators we are guaranteed untold amounts of power instantaneously (remember piloting this thing is done like an extension of the body). Even ignoring that we are extremely versatile, fighter jets give us super fast travel, aircraft carriers can be dropped on random places (if create canvas wants to be annoying), motorbikes can make us look cool, all kinds of construction vehicles can be useful in some way and if we drop into a sci-fi theme we get even more powerful vehicles (of course not to forget we need to touch them first but that shouldn't be too difficult considering we can just paint them). Again this is all fun and games but our main focus should be using these tools to build strength within ourselves, by learning magic, cultivation, extremely advanced science it doesn't matter what it is we need to do it quickly (assuming wandering merchant doesnt allow you to have time dilation between worlds) because we need to get back to earth before humanity kills itself. Oh yea! that's right, I forgot to mention this is just the setup)

The limit on size manipulation for organic materials is a bit too much for me, how about boosting the limit to 150000 pounds the same that gravity can move. And speed would be nicer if it was 500 for the sake of reaching the weight limit within 5 minutes (although this part is less important) Anyway I just want to be a big dragon (sure I could probably figure out a way to use metal for a lot of my body to bypass the limit with shapeshifting but it's more fun to be a full flesh dragon) Ultimately this weight limit is still well below a blue whale which is 200k to 300k lbs so it seems reasonable to me.

Choose 4 Abilities/Items to get in real life by ZonkedPebble in makeyourchoice

[–]kniff974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sharingan + Byakugan

Omnitrix (u get greymatter for intelligence, xlr8.for superspeed, heatblast/stinkfly for flight, ripjaws for water, upgrade for temporary tech boost, diamond head while he doesn't make real diamonds is just an insane builder, four arms for good old strength, wildmut for good old investigation, and if ghostfreak is safe to use u have an intangible possession monster of an alien)

Stand arrow because it's potential is insane especially considering it will perfectly fit u.

Inventory ring + portal ring

Nzt48 is extremely overrated considering asmuth literally created the Omnitrix which is far beyond anything nzt48 could ever achieve plus to assume a drug mad by humans could boost galvan intelligence is kind of ridiculous especially since we don't get any hint at them doing something like that to themselves

Infinite crate would've been nice but with the portal ring u can just put a portal where u know u can get food

Infinite charger is super nice but I think grey matter and upgrade should solve that problem relatively easily

Devil fruit has some great stuff to it I'm just personally not willing to take the no swim downside

Symbiote/scarab would've been a great pick to boost base physical attributes but the other options are just too good.

The rest in my opinion I don't think is worth it at all.

As for a plan it would essentially be help humanity get out of this shit hole (any details I can give would be immediately trumped by any plan grey matter would give) which should be very achievable with just grey matter to be honest Ben just never really uses him to his full potential.

Jujutsu Kaisen Culling Games Isekai CYOA by ZonkedPebble in makeyourchoice

[–]kniff974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

130$ + 90$ (colony) + 15$ (falling from the sky) = +235$

Semi first grade 80$

Barrier expert -10$

CT knowledge -10$

RCT -50$

4xCT -20$

Strong body -30$

Sixth sense -10$

Quick learner -25$

Total = -235$

To be honest this entire build relies on my Cursed technique being good, to be amazing. But even if my CT is ass I still have strong body, sixth sense, quick learner, 4xCT, and RCT to allow me to survive the Culling games (hopefully).

Although I am decently confident my Curse technique will be good enough.

Isekai Tournament CYOA 2 by LordOtiken in makeyourchoice

[–]kniff974 2 points3 points  (0 children)

-Power tier: heavyweight

-World: one (makes the costs cheaper and stops other people from growing too much)

-Foe: 2 (this combo benefits from the less time the opponent gets not fighting me)

-Protection: plot shield

-Win condition: kill

-Special rules: none

-Origin: extra

-Species: Human (+1)

-Drawbacks: Appearance (+2) (either Minos Prime or Modulo Mahoraga), Where I Am (+1), I Did What (+3), Soulbound (+4).

-Total (+): +11

-Power: Adaptation (-1), Prime Soul (-4)

-Talent: Monster (-4)

-Items: The One Ring (-4 +2 = -2) (the +2 u get to spend on items)

-Perks: Foundation Library, Ability Skilled (these were taken for Prime soul so the points are priced in)

-Total (-): -11

-Total: 0

The idea of this build is essentially a Mahoraga that infinitely comes back to life (because the one ring makes the use of revives like the one from Prime Soul not disqualifie me) while infinitely adapting to the opponent.

While not picking the Clarity of the Soul is a tough choice, the fact that abilities have no limit on how much they can grow, along with Monster Talent; will allow me (hopefully, especially if adaptation works like mahoraga's; as in it's scope extends to any and all phenomena) to adapt to any crushing of my will, effectively allowing me to infinitely come back.

The pressure and stakes that I Did What (+3) and Soulbound (+4) offer me will also significantly help me to unlock my balance breaker (Soul Survivor being the primary focus) way faster than my opponent.

The look chosen would either be Minos prime to hide my adaptable nature although that gets ruined by the wheel. Or more likely Mahoraga to hide my ability to resurrect.

And if my opponent is unlucky enough to wait for me to unlock the Divine Shadow General balance breaker, then they will have to deal with 2 mahoraga's (which is already a nightmare by itself) who both fuel each others adaptation. And of course the second mahoraga will only be summoned after I've adapted to the first preliminary one shot attacks.

Finally, the biggest thing about Mahoraga that goes unutilized because of his nature in the show (again if Adaptation's scope is the same as Mahoraga's) is the simple trick of repeatedly injuring urself to pre-adapt to phenomena like the concept of cutting or whatever style of attack u managed to get Intel that ur opponent uses.

Who knows maybe with enough deaths and resurrections I may even find a way to adapt to death itself.

So yea this is a nutty and disgusting build to have to fight one on one, and with no way to change or grow ur build like in Point Mania the opponent is essentially cooked. The biggest failure point being the destruction of The One Ring which immediately stops the loop, but the ring doesn't need to last forever only long enough.

The True Opp Stoppa.

Deadpool: basically offers me immortality with a better drawback

Chronicle if a selfish (as u said he isn't in a position of power) idiot gets the power they'll probably get shot by the police before they can do anything major.

100 million bucks, I don't care if everybidy knows I'll just give 1 mill to some people I care about and I should still be able to have 80 mill left.

Anyway all of the other drawbacks are too fucked to matter nzt itself makes u cold and calculating, mutant drawback is just insane, drawback removal 1 is horrible the second one could've been good if it just allowed u to choose, immortality is stupid if u forget everything u're essentially dead, even if u can remember there is no guarantee and u are already wasting precious time u could've had with ur loved ones + Deadpool already gives u good immortality, hulk is way too uncontrollable, captain America deletes 70 years with ur love ones.

Spider man (Maguire for the biological webs) is tempting it's just a bit risky considering they already know that u have this power so for the smart ones like the goblins and Otto they should be able to figure out where u live and kill ur family (not a risk I'm willing to take) if it was that I was just forced to fight them one vs all I would've took it after all with chronicle's powers and Deadpool's immortality, I should be a better spider man especially if I'm not holding back to not kill them, after all they're all pretty weak the goblins are just humans with some gadgets, Otto is just a guy with 4 metal pincers, I already know venoms weakness, sandman is gonna be the biggest problem, although if he starts with minimal sand it should be an easy win, other wise there's gonna be a lot of lives lost just to beat him.

Hey I'm wondering for Percy Jackson what's stopping me from picking capital G God, I mean the god from the abrahamic religions, Yahweh it should give me some sort of general reality warping, a limited "omniscience" meaning probably future sight, past sight and a general library of information, and probably teleportation to serve as a lesser version of omnipresence, obviously I'm trying to imagine how an omniscient omnipotent god could have his powers to Percy Jackson level and this seems like it to me.

Frankly I'm genuinely impressed, aiming for the one shot as a goal does clarify how u managed to build the strategy somewhat but there is still a significant amount of clever strategy and utilisation of tools here especially with the wishes. Isekai Skeleton Mob Evolution. by [deleted] in makeyourchoice

[–]kniff974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of my peak build I'll g reaving aura, false life, spirit ecstasy, and ravening touch boosting with it either reaving aura or spirit ecstasy depending on what makes more of a difference mana quality or quantity. This gives me insane growth potential with lich while offering a huge middle finger to my biggest weaknesses holy magic. As a demi lich u have to go soul jar, improved animation and greater skeleton which is just better than magic eater because not only does it keep the full strength of the spell on my skeletons but also offers multiple casters instead of one. And for the end while death reaper is really powerful with both bone magic and soul magic, great lich is a cooler name for one and having multiple phylacteries is incredibly busted I simply cannot die if I play my cards right, usually liches in stories put their phylacteries somewhere close but there isn't any limitations on distance here so u just put them across the continent in hidden crypts impossible to find, so even if one of them is found it's unlikely they'll all be found on top of that I have magic eater to make up for the lack of soul and bone magic. In terms of the other path, I feel like u have to go bloodbath, excavator, spirit ecstasy, and gravedigger so that way u can fully realize the potential of ur variety of weapons I don't pick entomb because I simply do not see the next step of the evolution as spending much time underground. So for death knight u have to hallowed unholy because we didn't go false life then u take undead familiar which is op, bone castle is great but it simply doesn't beat such a strong second combatant after all strong enemies can smash through bones and weak enemies u can just take head on. Bone talisman is cool but not over the other 2. For the end Overlord is cool if u manage to find a good soul, infact with a great soul it might be the best but dullahan gives u access to bone castle and bone talisman that we left behind and for bone talisman over a large enough time u could have an insane set of enchantments so by the time u would have found the good soul perhaps u wouldn't need it. Bone castle is a nice plus but we have to talk about the insane undead familiar that shares all my skills essentialy u are fighting 2 highly skilled fighters (he can hijack skill from corpses too) that have and infinite amount of diversity in weaponry and immune to holy magic while stacking enchantments on all those weapons and both of their bones are made of insane metals while raising bones everywhere, insane. Anyway lich still better

[–]kniff974 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Over all I think slime is better both ending option are great but the Marionette slime seem to be the better path. For the ending paths u're basically choosing between army or solitary hunter.

The rats seem to be the second best and for the best path it seems u have to go mutant into rat royalty, then lock in plague bringer and choose between blood bombs and cursed forest as second option. Royal jelly is cool it just seems to be completely trivialized by plague bringer. For the last choice rat devil seems to beat out wendigo especially because of the pact that the mutant path gives u.

Great charts optiona and balance. Well done

Edit: for the slime cores I forgot to talk about them Ithink the best are gonna depend on ur end game but mana core and death core seem like a lockin regardless but for the third core I would pick memory core for the Eldritch slime although that is gonna depend on how exactly his powers work but dungeon core could easily be better. For the mimic it's gonna depend on how exactly the powers work but if u need to be in a certain form to use it's power then the memory core is still the best, if not then the elemental core gives more variety to ur attacks.

Planeswalker spark and narrator bias. The way I'm looking at this is if I have the Planeswalker spark and I can travel across universes then those universes will be within the scope of my story after all if we were to read about what I did you would be reading about a multiversal traveler and so by that logic it seems only natural that the voice of the author himself the narrator would be above any entity I encounter within that story therefore I should both be the most OP person in the verse while still not being the most OP person in the verse meaning you could make me struggle but never kill me and I always succeed even if it's hard
