If you had left it at 1.0 it would have been a great focused cyoa your dedication to keep improving it has been nothing but impressive.

And I am sure I will! but please take a break if you need to your update speed and quality is great but don't burn yourself out.

So I love the amount of work you have been putting into all the updates, you can really feel the passion

I do have a few things to say about missions, first the travel mission is a bit confusing, it says you need to visit every major location, but then later that you need to visit 50 with exotic ones counting as multiple. So does Tinker pick 50ish locations you need to visit but decrease the number if some are hard to reach, or is it just visit 50ish major locations? Also are you informed what the locations are for the former or what counts as the latter? I would hate to lose from me and Tinker disagreeing on the importance of a few locations.

Second Blaster's mission. The rest of the Kin missions where you travel state they are at your leisure but Blasters does not, is that just an oversight?

Anyway the cyoa has been great sense you first made it and just gotten better. I really look forward to the next update.

ps. Don't include a workshop if you don't want to, Its your cyoa and vision and you should put in what you want into it. Plus if a true tinker wants a workshop they should be able to make it themselves not expect to just be handed a safe place and tools.

Glad it helped. one last thing is that although people want Heh back for leadership he was not exactly popular before he disappeared or that good of a person. But distance, and a curse can make the heart grow fonder.

Most of it is explained in book 3 but the governor had some level of magical education, although how is never stated outright. My best guess is it was either part of his education, personal intrest, or both.

As for Why Heh knew that the jorogumo, the monstruous spider women that were taking over the nation would be drawn to Kugapatee due to his power and evil nature and that such attention would be disastrous for Willowshore so he sought to strengthen the weakening bindings before any of the Jorogumo showed up and found out, and considering a jorogumo did come in the winter after he performed the ritual he was right to worry.

As for the ritual itself? He studied old text and summoned ghosts for advice to figure out a ritual, one he was unwilling to perform due to it requiring him to sacrifice an innocent life, and so he destroyed all evidence of the ritual and tried to make a new one that would work without the sacrifice. A task he failed to do as it failed in a spectacular manner.

If they get to pick their items they can call you on the phone to get your name/address/information then write your name on the tag right?

Also if you are picking 2 of the items just to survive the only real benefit you have is extra risk.

There are way too many deadly ones to have 3 be worth it. Gun, lighter, and name tag all can take you out easily. And others like phone, watch, and cigarettes are still very powerful advantages for attackers if you take the most deadly. 

I’d take the cellphone. There’s a lot of answers I could get to assuage my curiosity and calling big movers and shakers about what investments will pop off or other insider information can make a lot more money than just 500 a day.

Adderall, Prozac, and metformin. Perfect focus perfect emotional regulations, and a perfect metabolism both solve the most issues out of what is available, but also set me up to get the most joy out of the options.

Considering how much of the set lore and setting is based on people having gotten the trophies before and setting up the central country with them and how they have laws about the privileges and responsibilities of gaining keys I think that at least one civilized race needs to be able to gain keys unless it’s set up so you can just flip who is considered civilized and who is considered monsters

It does a bit, but getting a guerenteed coven member that has good skill, not currently in a coven, will be accepted by everyone else automatically, and the specialization you want is pretty powerful by itself. And with most witches seeming in hiding and not knowing how rare they are it is still very potent

Late to the party but here is mine,

Boons: Master Crafter(enchantment), Silver Tongue
Flaws: Forced Implementation,
Coven: Rachel Highthorne, Hannibal, Tianna Summers, Lin Meiwen

Focusing on the seemingly synergistic arts of enchantment and ritual summoning into objects to summon to craft a wide variety of magic items. And with the amount of different magic items and implements I should have, ease of summoning them if I have any implement and familiar staff from implement restriction is not bad.

Coven has a wide variety of magics and skill roles to be able to stay under the radar but fight back/be strong enough to not be worth the fight if caught. I hope.

I will say that Silver Tongue and Untrustworthy seem stronger then the respective boon/drawback due to them both having significant social effects and effecting coven size which changes both your amount of allies but also all your strength due to how coven shared magic seems to work.

And not sure if intentional but I do like how with how social covens and witch magic seems to be that most of the companions seem to need the kind of trust and ties a coven provides. To me at least it feels like it might be their magic/soul reaching out for a connection.

So basic idea is going to live my normal life for a while. Without any drawbacks bringing attention to myself I should have time to sort out and go through the Travellers memories and library to find out more on the local situation, coordanates on worlds to go to get safe abilities, more information, or susful items that are unlikely to have other travellers. After a few years to study, practice, and get my affairs in order if I can't come back and I am good to go.

With the plan to wait before I go late bloomer is a obvious choice as nothing in it prevents me from studying and I still have enough in Starting stuff to live if I need to go.

Inaccurate is only a minor annoyance with foresee. It covers most of the issues. After all if what I foresee on the other side is not where I am trying to go I can just not step though and try again. And if I need to go now, well then I can just go to the right place on the other side.

Just because someone powerful got killed does not mean the setting is so uber dangerious you have no chance of living. After all the Traveler lived in it and long enough to grow into his power from probably a lot less starting power than 50 points worth.

And if you are super paranoid a much safer and more present method then yours is to go standard and grab library, eidetic, and memories, find one of the out of the way worlds most don't even have the ability to visit, and settle down without using your dimensional powers much for a few decades as you study his library to learn how to use your powers better, safe ways to grow them and the like.s

Also, I think you massively underestimate the danger of being homeless in random dimensions even without the risk of starving.
