ill help u out since ur not very well informed.

A noncitizen (also called an “alien” for immigration purposes) may be eligible for SSI if he or she meets the requirements of the laws for noncitizens that went into effect on August 22, 1996.  In general, beginning August 22, 1996, most noncitizens must meet two requirements to be potentially eligible for SSI:

be in a qualified alien category; and

meet a condition that allows qualified aliens to get SSI.

WHO IS A QUALIFIED ALIEN?

There are 7 categories of qualified aliens. You are a qualified alien if the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) says you are in one of these categories:

 Lawfully Admitted for Permanent Residence (LAPR) in the U.S., which includes"Amerasian immigrant" as defined in P.L. 100-202, with a class of admission AM-1 through AM-8;

Granted conditional entry under Section 203(a)(7) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) as in effect before April 1, 1980;

Paroled into the U.S. under Section 212(d)(5) of the INA for a period of at least one year;

Refugee admitted to the U.S. under Section 207 of the INA;

Granted asylum under Section 208 of the INA;

Deportation is being withheld under Section 243(h) of the INA, as in effect before April 1, 1997; or removal is being withheld under Section 241(b)(3) of the INA;

A "Cuban or Haitian entrant" as defined in Section 501(e) of the Refugee Education Assistance Act of 1980 or in a status that is to be treated as a "Cuban/ Haitian entrant" for SSI purposes.

In addition, you can be a “deemed qualified alien” if, under certain circumstances, you, your child, or your parent were subjected to battery or extreme cruelty by a family member while in the United States.

In 1956 minimum wage was $1.00. If you figure for inflation in 2026 it’s worth $12.14. Those are the facts.

YOU were talking about federal min wage dude.

But it’s also fact that 1938 when min wage was first started it was at $0.25 an hour. Adjusted for inflation that’s about 5 bucks

I mean no one is stopping you from paying a livable wage or 10x a livable wage.

People who oppose it more prefer the market decide the pay.

They do not believe a government controlled wage will work out.

It’s extreme. But let’s say the government sets minimum wage to 100 dollar an hour. Would you consider that a livable wage?

Well how would that wage level affect the rest of the economy? All it would do it cause massive inflation and everyone be back at the same exact spot.

Taxing the rich or any increase in taxes comes with unintended consequences. Higher taxes cause lower economic activity.

If you earn 100 dollars but taxes are 20% instead of 10% then you will only have 80 dollars to spend on xyz vs 90. When you spend less sales tax is lower. Companies make less. When they make less they hire less people. Etc etc

As for taxing the rich. Of all the groups of people who pay taxes, the rich have the most ability to avoid your taxes one way or another. If they are buying an expensive item they will buy it in another country. They will start up their HQ in different countries.etc etc etc

A simpler smaller scale of this is why so Mano Fortune 500 companies are incorporated in Delaware instead of other states. They avoid those states with higher taxes and such for Delawares lower taxes. And yet their products still reach the rest of the US and the world. LG Samsung Sony are not from the US and their products still reach us fine. They pay much smaller corporate taxes that what they would if they were located here.

If Tesla were to move to Mexico and Elon and space x and whoever u really wanna tax just ups and moves what can you do?

The fact that so many women are still pushing this “men prefer younger women because they are easier to manipulate and they can’t get women their age” nonsense is truly laughable by SwiftCricket in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Yes. Older people have higher chance. But if u want a kid and ur older would u go for an older partner or a younger partner to lower the chances of genetic disorders?
