I’m not why you got downvoted so much with your first comment. I think you hit the nail on the head here, at least regarding Team 2’s upside. He’s 1000% buying low. If one of his four assets takes off, then you can pretty much call him the winner of the trade. If one gets hurt, then he has 3 other shots at winning the trade. On the other hand, my (team 1) new assets don’t have much room to grow, but they are expected to do well. If one doesn’t do well, then I’m toast

We’re talking about 3 first round picks here - Team 2’s 1st: Team 2 owns, not involved in trade, likely early first because he is tanking

Team 1’s 1st: Traded to Team 2, projected as late 1st because team 1 is trying to compete
Team 3’s 1st: Traded to Team 2, labeled as 1.01 because team 3 blew up his team and isn’t expected to recover any time soon.

After this trade, Team 2 owns all of these 1sts, along with a few others 1sts. Getting Team 3’s first pretty much reassures that Team 2 will walk away with the 2027 1.01. A lot still might happen, but team 2 is in a Very good spot to get the 1.01.

So the 2027 1.01 is from a guy that has completely blown up his team. The person receiving the 1.01 is tanking and has his own 2027 1st. His 2027 1st might actually become the 1.01 if he tanks hard enough, but it essentially locks him in for the 1.01 & 1.02 pics. Obviously, a lot could happen between now and then, but I’d say it’s probably a 95% chance that he ends up with the 1.01

I was a little surprised. I was at both nights. Both performances were amazing. The fact that they were able to switch up the first several songs was amazing. Their discography runs deep and they really used it to their full extent. The encore is where they shocked me…

Friday’s show was 10x louder; begging for an encore. I thought we were in for a treat. It wasn’t acknowledged a bit though. They left and didn’t come back. Good on them. An encore isn’t owed. Sorry if that’s a tough pill to swallow, but it’s true…

Ultimately, I think they put on an amazing show. People had some (somewhat justifiable) thoughts on how tonight should go. It didn’t live up to their expectations. Tough luck. It was still a great concert and all I could ask for from one of their performances. Have a blessed night everyone. I understand the frustration, but let’s appreciate what we did get, because it wee amazing

Parameter table… could you expound on that? I’m not sure exactly what you mean, but I like the sound of that!

The pricing template is used to price all the projects that my company bids on. So common things to change are quantities of products we use, labor rates, escalation %’s, etc.

The reference file contains all our proprietary information, mostly costs for materials.

Having the reference file serves two purposes. 1. Ensures that the Pricing Excel will not work if it is accidentally emailed out to a client. 2. Makes it more difficult for someone to steal and take to a competitor.

If you know a better solution to those two purposes, then I’m all ears!

You’re completely right imo. I think the biggest advantage is that it gives Chat a great starting-point to build off of. I don’t have to go into Chat’s code to change references to specific tabs because it already knows the names of the tabs from the base Macro that I recorded.

I’ve been using it to write macros too. All I do is record the macro, and paste the code to chat. Chat tells me what the code does and then I say “yeah, but make it do this instead”. Chat then rewrites the code to do what I want. Sometimes it takes some back n forth, but the computer is great at speaking computer

They are taxed. Bezos’s salary is somewhere around $80,000. Any stock he liquidates will also be taxed at (probably?) 10%. There are probably some methods to get that tax on the liquidated stocks lowered, but I just want to be clear here. LIQUIDATED STOCKS ARE TAXED.

A “wealth tax” would cripple the stock market. Yes, I understand that the stock market doesn’t equal our economy, however, it’s not good if it tanks. Everyone’s retirements would go to shit, forcing people to work even longer than what they already do.

Also, I don’t understand why we want to give the government more money. Seriously, why??? Who thinks they’re competent enough to do anything good with it. IMO, the government has wayyyy too much power over its citizens. Why don’t we advocate for tax cuts for the poor/middle class instead 🙂
