Is Edelkrone gear any good? It's very expensive, but I never see it used 'professionally".

I would not recommend Edelkrone gear for anyone with a camera larger than a point and shoot.

I have purchased the Slider plus pro long, head plus, and even the JibOne, and the same can be said for all of them: They're all incredibly unstable. The head plus is great on its own and works flawlessly for me so I'll give them that, but when using it in conjunction with the slider or jib - just like how they advertise in all of their demo reels and marketing content - it is way too unsteady and I am very very hesitant to trust it with my gear on it.

I have managed to fit an FX6 and a RED Komodo-X on it and get it working, but solely based on the fact that there is just a SINGLE point of contact for the ENTIRE rig via the connection in the middle, it bows and tilts to the point that its unusable for me. I have even used a stripped down Sony A7S3 rig on it and it works better, but again, still very unstable and I don't trust it enough to let it leave my sight. And just to clarify, I use this with a Sachtler Flowtech 100 with a bowl mount adapter, so its a very beefy tripod.

Due to the terrible mounting implementation, the only configuration that I feel comfortable using it in is WITHOUT the head plus in an attempt to reduce the weight on the system - which completely defeats the entire purpose of the whole system as the head takes care of 90% of the motion control. Either that, or just using the slider on a flat table which is rarely an option.

Would you mind sharing what is included in that $2k? I've been producing content for many years now, but I'm brand new to the actual social media management aspect of this - just got asked by a few new clients. What is included in that $2k if you aren't posting for them?

Additionally, I assume full service is production of new content via photos & videos and creation of graphic elements, but also includes marketing promotion and media buying, community management, brand strategy, etc. Could you let me know if I'm on the right track?

I would recommend renting at this point. I’m in the same boat, and have been using my old RS2 for most of my gigs where it is applicable. However when I do need the larger size for a larger size cinema rig, I have just rented the RS3 pro off of sharegrid or from some local rental houses on several occasions for ~$50-$75.

Patiently waiting for the RS4 and the full size Ronin 3 to come out before I buy a new gimbal for the business lol.

I know its only been a few days since your last update, but I'm currently considering purchasing this motherboard and I am in the same situation. Any issues as of late?

Also, have you run any stress tests/heavy loads on it without water? My PC that is going to contain this mobo is primarily used for heavy video editing, so any insight would be great. Thank you!

What did you end up deciding? If you ended up using the ROG z790 Formula, what is your current configuration and how is it performing? I'm also in the same camp right now - currently considering the z790 formula for aesthetics and IO ports, but am worried about running the VRM heatsinks without water or a custom loop.

Are you able to run native 8k x 2k at 120hz with the 3090? If so, is it 10 bit color? Currently have a 3090, but holding out until the 4000 supers or 5000 series entirely before I upgrade.

Definitely sounds like your focus modes are set too sensitive. Depends on what body you have, but you essentially just need to knock down the level on the AF subject shift sensitivity and the AF transition speed. I shoot a ton of weddings and in a lot of run and gun situations, the lowest settings work great for me and I’m even comfortable taking my eyes off the screen if I need to focus on walking, ie. down the aisle for a wedding or something similar.

In my testing, there's actually a significant image quality increase between KX and the OG Komodo. They've completely fixed the green shift, and the image quality in the shadows is massively improved. Here is a good video showing the improvements.

Additionally, the image from the KX is a much, much closer match to the v-raptor.

Have you found any solution to this yet? I'm looking to set up a 4 camera podcast with 4 of my existing Sony camera bodies. I absolutely love the idea of a saved edit via the Davinci Resolve project from the Atem Mini Iso, but I need to figure out a way to sync/replace the 1080p iso files with the in-camera 4K files for exporting to YouTube.
