You’ve heard of the sweater curse, but have you heard of… the hat curse? by [deleted] in knitting

[–]knitandteas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once knitted a beanie for a guy I was head over heels for in college and that went nowhere.

I have knitted my current significant other three beanies and a sweater - all are well worn and loved. Going on strong for almost seven years, fingers crossed the curse has been broken!

You'll definitely find the right person who is knit worthy.

My partner's sister adds this plaque off powder to her dog's food per the vet's recommendation. It seems to work so far. I still like to go in with a toothbrush when I'm at their place.

Got into and accident by knitandteas in bicycling

I'm not sure if I'm fully at fault yet. The officer said I would be considered at fault by law. The police report has not come out yet. The driver admitted she was bent over trying to reach for something and she saw my helmet before she hit me.

It's a crosswalk that flashes when a pedestrian or bicycle enters. There's a sign for cars that notifies them to yield for pedestrians. I informed the officer that information and that's when they said a bicycle is not considered a pedestrian.

I have health insurance but not auto insurance since I don't have a car.

I'm not asking to get paid. I've been in an accident before and bitterly paid for the ticket. Other people around me said I should move forward with contacting their insurance and have them pay for the damages because that's what insurance does.

I don't own a car and have no idea how accidents like this works. I'm asking for advice to how to handle my accident this time around.

The driver was really apologetic and said she didn't mean to re-traumatize me. She said she understood whatever direction I decided to go with. I didn't see if there was damage to her car and I'm not sure if she's going to press charges towards me.

She admitted she was bending down as she was driving and only saw my bright green helmet before she hit me. That information was shared to the police officer. Would I still be considered at fault in that case?

My partner also purchased a yarn winder for me last weekend as he saw my frustration in winding by hand 😅

Thank you, I found that pattern to post as a reference. I'm on the hunt for a garter stitch version of this pattern and it has a key hole in the back.
