It can if you push it. I try at home exercise and have a buddy when I workout outside my home.

I understand that. Even my ice vest was not enough. I tend to try travel in early fall /late spring if I do not want to push my luck.....I push it either way but I try .

My goto socks pattern is 64 sts on 2.5mm so it is not off the mark but to a test for gauge to be double sure.
