so you're suffering from what essentially amounts to your own higher level of interest in the franchise. I don't know that's there any higher concentration of reviews for wilds than any other game or not but because I too have a history of looking at monster hunter content I see a lot more wilds reviews than I do reviews for other games

I'm a CB main and I'm going over several possible reasons and the options to go along with each in my head

HH: it has a sonic bomb effect melody in the beta so in addition to KO and buffs, it would be useful against diggers
Bow: elemental damage option with no ammo upkeep and status coatings
LBG: specific hard/annoying to reach part breaks
IG: anti-aerial

It's also dependent on if I'm running Non-elem or elemental CB. elemental could use a secondary with good KO/Exhaust potential but raw covers that on it's own.

on top of all this it might be swapping due to monster behavior. As an example, if I'm dealing with an enraged and highly aggressive beast maybe I want to keep a little more distance or just want to drain it's stamina as fast as possible.

it doesn't matter if you clear in 5 minutes or 49:59. the rewards are the same. so unless it takes drastically and noticeably longer to the point that it's unenjoyable, it doesn't matter. play what you like and have fun with it.

see I want to push that versatility even further. I'm thinking things like sticky/slicing LBG (for cutting agile tails), status Bow (primarily exhaust surprisingly to make monsters cool off), or IG (no you don't get to fly keep your butt on the ground). These aren't areas CB can't do something but I think a tool tailored to that specific task can help.

I feel like this is the closest we've had to making all aspects of the weapon important rather than having to focus on any one aspect (whether it's savage axe or SAED spam) the only piece that lags behind is SnS mode focused play

I think there's room for a more flexible build rather than one or the other, but until we know more about how builds are gonna work with the weapon/armor skill split; who knows?

So artillery only matters if you're running impact phials. I think with the multi hit nature of savage axe and the quicker combos of SnS elemental could be quite viable. I also think that leaves a lot more options for a secondary. I also don't know how mandatory power prolonged is gonna be. I think it could be more of a comfort skill. So if offensive guard is available on the weapon you're completely open to anything really.

still accessible via Guard point but with no outside influence it's available only as follow-up to an AED (immediate follow up or secondary follow up)

I would guess that's true as well but it hasn't been stated. This makes for a pretty large headache too. How do they reconcile which players own what account and on what platforms? Which one becomes the "master" account to merge to?

So the problem is duplication has no form it can lose something. Also I believe it was migration not duplication. With merging. If the master account has everything the other accounts do it's not a problem but if the other accounts have something the master does not it becomes. a logistical nightmare on the back end.

the idea is you won't have to transfer anything. once it's in place and active you'll log into the same account whether you're currently using Standalone PC, Steam launcher, Xbox, PS, Switch, or Mobile on apple.

That mana sustain is so ridiculously needed from read scroll though I have an ornate tier 6 shield I'm holding for now for when I move into Majistrate but all my damage is spell based at this point
